Pokédex Entry: A predator of the kelp forests, Kellark is actually rather friendly to scuba divers and other Pokémon. Most of its diet involves small animals filtered from the sand. Its mortal enemy is Baikuda and they will fight one another over the defense of Keluppy.

A large shark Pokémon, Kellark is vaguely dog-like in appearance, with large ear-like fins. Its tail is made from a green fin that greatly resembles the kelp forests it likes to call home. Kellark is tan in color on its sides, gray on its back, with white accents and some spots. It usually has a grin like expression on its face. Shiny Kellark are black and red.

Etymology: Kellark is a combination of the words kelp, bark and shark.

Gender Differences: None.

Special Abilities: None.

Behavior: Kellark are deep lurking, shark-like Pokémon. They use their floppy front fins to dig into the sand and chase out small Clamperl and other invertebrates to eat. They will also chomp down on the hard shells of Mollux to eat the soft meat inside. They stray far from the kelp beds to hunt, but return every night to sleep.

Habitat: The fringes of kelp forests and the mid-deep sea.

Diet: Kelp and small fish.
