Pokédex Entry: Akuber live in large pods with their parents until they come of ages, traversing the magma flows and ocean with ease. They are capable of holding their breath for nearly twelve hours.
Small creatures, Akuber are blue scaled amphibians with a thick, coarse mane of red and orange hair. Their body is covered in blue scales that link together fluidly. Their body composition, however, seems to be neither solid or liquid, and it's capable of limited contortion, in ways similar to the way Vaporeon can liquidize. The mane on their back and neck is made up of coarse red hair and ends in a small spherical bauble at the tip. Their tail is finned to aid in navigation through the lava flows they often swim in, as well as water from the underwater locales they inhabit. The fringe around their neck is used to protect their gills from lava while they are in the heated substance and their tufted ears are adapted to work in both liquids. Shiny Akuber are purple with blue manes.
Etymology: Akuber is a combination of the words scuba and ember, with elements of the word aku, Japanese for evil.

Special Abilities: The composition of its body allows it to take liquid form, allowing it to fit through crevices in the volcanic regions it usually inhabits. They can also withstand inhuman levels of heat, pressure and temperature.
Behavior: Solitary by nature, Akuber are stoic and loners by nature. They are often not found in groups after adolescence. They are not typically violent towards humans, but they will fight violently if they feel threatened or cornered. When captured or befriended, they are typically fiercely loyal to only a single person their entire life. They have been known to die unexpectedly if they are traded hands and it is believed they form some kind of life bond to their first owner.
Habitat: Volcanoes and lava flows, specifically island locations and volcanoes near to water, especially underwater volcanic regions.
Diet: Omnivorous.
