Glaciare [Female]: Gifted by her parents after they returned from a business trip to Sinnoh, Glaciare has been Sonje's steadfast companion ever since her childhood. Playful and spontaneous, the Embrina was a perfect match for Sonje's wild nature, and provided the added bonus of keeping the rambunctious teen out of too particularly much trouble. Shortly after Sonje entered the military, Glaciare evolved from her earlier form, some would say due to the experiences gained in that setting. Now with the poise of maturity to match her still-playful temper, Glaciare is an exceptional partner for Sonje.

Standing at a little under six feet, Sonje has back-length blonde hair that she usually ties in a bun when in uniform and blue eyes, almost the textbook definition of Aryan lineage. Her body is more built than the average for a woman, though she does not have a masculine appearance. When not in her uniform, her casual clothing consists of white pants, tall boots, and a loose light-green blouse. And an excessive amount of belts.

A good way to describe her is hot-blooded. While she is no screaming warrior, she's very energetic and dedicated to victory in battle, prone to declaring that her current opponent is her mortal enemy and swearing that she will kill every last one of them. She's a bit melodramatic. She's by no means that energetic outside of battle, so she can't be accused of being a genki girl, and in fact practically seems to sulk otherwise. Her true anger is impressive to behold, and equally-rare to discover. A very literal and linear thinker, she's capable of analyzing her surroundings very quickly and figuring out how to use them to her benefit, but on the flip side, she can be socially dense.

Born and raised in the city of Sendai, Sonje grew up very hyperactive in stark contrast to most of the populace, but this was due to her German, rather than Japanese, heritage. Her parents, both German natives, had moved to Japan in the 80s to allow her father to teach German there, just a few years before she was born. Her grades in school were average, but she had trouble initially in Japanese history due to the parts of history that were omitted or altered to white-wash the history of World War II. Already familiar with similar historical white-washing from Germany, it didn't take her long to put the pieces together, but by that point she'd just accepted it as a black mark on her adopted heritage and moved on.

After high school, she worked various odd jobs around Sendai while waiting until the required age of 21 to become a naturalized Japanese citizen, spending her free time studying the history of Japan's Senogku era. Most of her studies revolved around Date Masamune, given that he founded the city she grew up in. After receiving her naturalization papers, she enlisted in the Japan Ground Self-Defense Force, standing out as one of the few foreigners in the nation's military. Earning high marks in basic military training, she initially served in the artillery brigade as a fire scout before applying for the 1st Airborne Brigade on the recommendation of her supervisors. Acing the selection process and aiming as high as she possibly could, she landed a position in the Guide Unit and now serves the job of battlefield reconaissance and gathering intel on the enemy. She's recently taken to nicknaming her brigade the "Scouting Legion" after beginning to follow Shingeki no Kyojin.

Reconnaissance: An excellent battlefield scout, Sonje is adept at quickly maneuvering around an area that is in or soon will see combat, typically using a motorcycle for maximum mobility. Despite the advice of her superiors, squadmates, and general common sense against doing so, she's gotten fairly proficient at accurately firing her Type-98 assault rifle one-handed while at full speed.

Due to her unusual strength, she is also capable of wielding an FN Minimi, and recently she has expressed great interest in using the Type-01 LMAT knockoff of the American FGM-148 Javelin, calling it her "Titan-slayer."
