Welcome to Saffron City, the shining, golden land of commerce. Saffron City is a sprawling metropolis in the Kanto region. It lies in between Celadon City, Vermilion City, Lavender Town, and Cerulean City. It is home to Sabrina, the Saffron City Gym Leader. The Magnet Train here runs from Saffron to Goldenrod in Johto. Many attractions also are housed in this city, such as the Fighting Dojo and Silph Co. HQ.

Fighting Dojo
The Fighting Dojo is a former Pokémon Gym and a place where Trainers of Fighting-type Pokémon convene in Kanto. It is located in Saffron City. Though it's no longer a registered Gym, victors in this Dojo are often awarded a Pokémon from the Tyrogue family.
Magnet Train Kanto Station
The Magnet Train is found in Johto and Kanto. It runs between Goldenrod City and Saffron City twenty-four hours a day, seven days a week. It allows rapid travel between the two cities, going at over 340 miles per hour.
Mr. Psychic's House
Mr. Psychic lives in a house that is located in the southern-eastern suburb of the city. His home is better accessible by entering Saffron City from the southern entrance. He gives away TMs containing the move Psychic.
Pokémon Trainer Fan Club
People gather to discuss their favorite celebrity trainers at the Pokémon Trainer Fan Club.
Saffron City Contest Hall
Pokémon Coordinators come to the Saffron City Contest Hall to take part in Pokémon Contests.
Saffron Gym
The Saffron Gym is the official Gym of Saffron City. It is based on Psychic-type Pokémon. The Gym Leader is Sabrina. Trainers who defeat her receive the Marsh Badge.
Silph Co. HQ
Silph Co. is the manufacturers of many tools, including the Silph Scope, which allows the user to view spectral entities, and have headquarters in Saffron City. They are also speculated to run the Poké Marts in Kanto and possibly Johto and the Sevii Islands as well.
