Lavender Town, the noble purple town. Lavender Town is a small town located in northeast Kanto, just south of the Rock Tunnel. According to the citizens of the town, Lavender Town is known as the grave site of Pokémon.

Welcome to Lavender Town, the noble purple town. Lavender Town is a small town located in northeast Kanto, just south of the Rock Tunnel. According to the citizens of the town, Lavender Town is known as the grave site of Pokémon. All the memorial services are held in Pokémon Tower. Other citizens believe that the ghosts that appear in the Tower are the spirits of Pokémon that Team Rocket killed.

Locations In Town

House of Memories
The House of Memories was built to hold graves from the Pokémon Tower when it was converted to the Kanto Radio Tower, and now it still serves its purpose in addition to the join tower. There are many chambers within the building, but anyone other than Mr. Fuji cannot access them.

Kanto Radio Tower
The Radio Tower broadcasts music and radio programs, including the Poké Flute channel, to the radios and Pokégear of Kanto. It is situated on the top floor of the Pokémon Tower.

Lavender Volunteer Pokémon House
The Lavender Volunteer Pokémon House, located in central Lavender Town, was founded by Mr. Fuji. The organization exists to care for abandoned and orphaned Pokémon.

Image Pokémon Tower
Pokémon Tower is a seven-floor graveyard that holds the grave of departed Pokémon. Populated by Channelers, it was notable for numerous ghost sightings. The top floor now serves currently as Kanto's Radio Station since they have decided to work on a joint effort.

Fishing Guru's House
A man known as the "Fishing Guru" can be found living in the middle of Silence Bridge. The Guru gives away Rods to the people that like fishing just as much as he.

Image Rock Tunnel
The Rock Tunnel is a naturally formed underground tunnel. Because it has not been developed, it is pitch black inside. A light of some sort is needed for travelers to find their way. It is recommended that Pokémon Trainers bring along a Pokémon that can use Flash.

Image Route 8
Route 8 is a road in central Kanto that links Saffron City in the west to Lavender Town in the east. The Underground Path on Route 8 allows trainers to bypass Saffron on their way to Celadon. The tunnel comes out on Route 7 in the west, close to Celadon.

Route 10 is a north-south route located in northeast Kanto. Rock Tunnel lies on this route, and it runs south to Lavender Town.

Image Route 12, 13, 14 & 15
Route 12 is a long north-south route in east Kanto. This route is also known as the Silence Bridge between its southern terminus at Route 13 and the lookout station just south of Lavender Town, its northern terminus. As a whole, the route is a large bridge built over water, making it a favored gathering spot for fishers. Route 13 is an east-west route located in southeast Kanto. The eastern terminus is at the Silence Bridge portion of Route 12. The western terminus is at Route 14.

Route 14 is a short north-south path that connects Route 13 in the north to Route 15 in the south; it also contains a maze of fences. The southeastern corner of Route 14 is the southeastern-most point in the region of Kanto. Route 15 is a long east-west route located in southeast Kanto. Its eastern terminus is at Route 14. The western terminus is just west of a lookout station separating Route 15 from Fuchsia City.

Silence Bridge
The bridge that lies along Route 12. It is known for its excellent fishing and for being a spot where a lot of Trainers seek battle.

Underground Path 7-8
The Underground Path between Route 7 and Route 8 is located directly underneath Saffron City and terminates just to the east and the west of Saffron City.
