Pokédex Entry: A small fox that lives in the arctic circle north of Russia. To keep warm in the deep of winter they wrap their tail around their body. They are scavengers that bury their findings under the snow for later.
A small canine, Nevox is roughly the size of an Eevee and just as fluffy. Similar to a Bearctic, Nevox's fur is not pure white and takes in the color of the environment around it. As such, those in captivity in warmer climates have a more manila tone, while those in arctic climes have the proper, light snow-blue color associated with Nevox. That being said, its tail and ears are covered in properly colored fur, purple and white respectively. Color aside, Nevox doesn't have much in the way of unique physiology, with for normal legs and two normal ears and an average snout. The fur on its body is incredibly short, causing Nevox to wrap its bush tail around itself to keep vital organs warm.
Etymology: Nevox is a combination of the words neve and fox.

Behavior: A burrowing creature, Nevox build warrens of families up to the size of twenty to thirty individuals. They are scavengers, eating the leftover kills of larger predators of the tundra, such as Follixa or Beartic. Voracious eaters for their size, small units of them will scout all over, leaving tiny little trails in the snow as their feet carry them at speed in search of food, and they will drag their findings back to share or bury it in the snow to freeze it and save it for later. They have a rivalry with Leosno and they will fight one another for valuable food.
Habitat: They live exclusively in the north, particularly in the Russia Region.
Diet: The diet of Nevox is largely made up of invertebrates such as insects, and small vertebrates such as reptiles and birds, and also can include eggs and plants. They are opportunists, meaning if they think they can steal a kill from some other higher up predator, they will. Nevox store excess food under the snow so that it can freeze. They are capable of digesting frozen meat.
