Pokédex Entry: Its innards glow with a vibrant light, the color being determined by its current mood. Its predators take a red light as a warning to leave. The light it generates helps it traverse the dark depths of the sea. Its soothing glow helps it befriend curious or lost Pokémon.

Of similar shape to Shuckle, Mollux bear wormy appendages that they curl into coils against their body. They are pink in color, which long necks and gummy little mouths. Their innards are on open display on their backs in the form of a lava lamp like appendage. They glow with a faint yellow and purple light, normally, but this light will change with a Mollux's mood. Shiny Mollux are green in color with red innards.

Etymology: Mollux is a combination of the words mollusk and lux, Latin for light.

Gender Differences: None.

Special Abilities: None.

Behavior: Mollux are generally friendly Pokémon, their soft glow a welcome calming light that allows the Pokémon to befriend other Pokémon and humans alike. They are lax and calm generally, but when their mood shifts to one of angry or fear, the light from its innards take on a different color.

Habitat: Mollux generally inhabit volcanoes, underwater caves and air pocket grottos. When living in the ocean, they generally live where the sea is darkest and coldest and because of that, are found worldwide in such places.

Diet: Mollux eat microscopic organisms that live in the sand of the seabed. They also will partake in the feasting communities that gather when large sea creatures die and sink to the sea floor.
