An angular fish, Jollancer bears a long, sword-like nose that has a sharp, red point on the end. Its head is navy colored, while its body is a light and blue criss-crossed pattern. Two small fins point downwards from its body just past the gills, also tipped in red, while its tail fin is rather small compared to its length and is, as the rest, tipped in red. Lastly is its massive sail on its back, which looks to all the world like a black Jolly Roger flag complete with a skull and crossbones.

Etymology: Jollancer is a combination of the words jolly and lancer.

Gender Differences: None.

Special Abilities: Jollancer can lower and raise the flag-like sail on its back, similar to a flag on a ship.

Behavior: Jollancer earns its name and holds onto it proudly as the mutiny Pokémon. Attacking viciously any wandering school or lone Pokémon, Jollancer is a voracious eater and hunter. Truly, alongside Arghonaut, it is one of the pirate Pokémon of the high seas. Jollancer has an intense rivalry with Cawmodore and they will fight each other to the death when an individual of the opposing species spots one another.

Habitat: Open seas.

Diet: Pescatarian.
