A large fish, five or so feet from nose to tail. They are fairly thin and sleek, but they have some heft to them regardless. The top of their body is dark blue, while their underbelly is sleek white. They have a band of scales along their side of the bodies that runs to their tail, taking the appearance of an anchor. The spines along their back are yellow in color, as at their eyes. Finally, shiny Tanchor are red in color.

Etymology: Tanchor is a combination of the words tuna and anchor.

Gender Differences: None.

Special Abilities: None.

Behavior: Tanchor are strong, solid creatures that move through the seas in large schools. They don't take gruff from anything when they are in large numbers, but truth be told when not with their family members or schoolmates they tend to cut their losses and run. Tanchor make fairly decent trained Pokémon as they tend to be welcome combatants with their likely gimmick move pools.

Habitat: Open oceans.

Diet: Smaller fish and ocean organisms.
