Pokédex Entry: A seafaring, commanding Pokémon that directs the rather dopey crews of Cawdet it lives with. They are fiercely loyal and protect their allies valiantly.
A bulky, big bird with a muscular chest, Cawmodore looks for all the world like a captain of the seas. The feathers of its breast and belly are a bright, strong red bordered by white trim that juts off to the side and is dotted with small, metallic gold buttons. The majority of the rest of its body is a charcoal black, save for the steel-y white claws or fingers that jut out from the end of each wing, the white hat-like appendage on its head and the gold, anchor-like beak on its face. Shiny Cawmodore share most of their colors with normal Cawmodore, save for the fact that they are blue in place of red and a mite grayer.
Etymology: Cawmodore is a combination of the words caw and commodore.
Gender Differences: None.
Special Abilities: None.
Behavior: Stern, sturdy and studious, Cawmodore are valiant creatures that run a tight ship. They are the loyal commanders of the flocks of Cawdet they oversee and are quick to punish wrongdoing and mishaps that occur under their watch. They welcome a fight, taking combat as a challenge of their prowess and a test of their mettle. Let it never be said that they are unkind, however, as they develop strong ties of loyalty to their companions and flight-mates, protecting them to the death if they are threatened.
Habitat: Cawdet form rookeries of up to two hundred individuals, with perhaps one Cawmodore for every forty or so Cawdet. When there are too many Cawmodore in a rookery, they will take flight with a select hand of Cawdet and form a new one.
Diet: Cawmodore are pescatarians.
