Pokédex Entry: A wandering Pokémon that often gets related to the kitsune of Japan, though it is not at all one. They are wise and people often sought them for advice in ancient times.

A weasel-like Pokémon, Cerevine is rather long, almost five and a half feet in length and standing about two and a half feet off the ground. Its body is black with cream colored underfur, and its tail is very long with a pink hue. Its psychic power manifests as glowing green wings on its back, which float over its shoulders and glow in the dark. Cerevine's eyes have never been seen open, and they are believed by some to be blind. Shiny Cerevine are black and more muted in color, with purple tails.

Etymology: Cerevine is a combination of the words cerebral , divine and feline.

Gender Differences: None.

Special Abilities: Like most Psychic-type Pokémon, Cerevine is telepathic.

Behavior: Cerevine are wise creature, often leading the wild Pokémon around them through rough times. They are typically solitary as a race, not living in packs, with the most common amounts being singular or mother with children. Cerevine are believed by some to be a sign of good luck, often being equated to a kitsune due to their closed-eye appearance.

Habitat: Woodlands and forests.

Diet: Omnivorous. Will eat small mammals, insect and fruits and seeds.
