Pokédex Entry: Despite their size, Neolisk are gentle giants. They roam the undergrowth of rainforests and eat mushrooms and forage wherever they can find it. They can run and leap great distances with ease, making them superb at navigating their homelands.
Standing large-dog sized, Neolisk is a massive lizard about the size of a small car, to be completely honest. Okay, well, no, it's smaller than that, but it's certainly one of the largest lizards you've seen. It is bright neon green, hence its name, with dark stripes and paler stripes in varying degrees. A Neolisk's scales are very shiny and reflective, casting sunlight off of them. A long, whip-like tail lets it maintain its balance while the crest on its back allows it to regulate its body temperature. Shiny Neolisk bear peach-orange skin tones rather than green.
Etymology: Neolisk is a combination of the words neon and basilisk lizard.
Gender Differences: None.
Special Abilities: None.
Behavior: Neolisk are friendly Pokémon, lazing about in the sunny rainforests of Brazil. They typically remain laid back, letting curious people venture close to them. They have been compared to St. Bernards: large and friendly and still convinced they're lap dogs. When faced with battle, Neolisk then show their tendency to flee, preferring silent naps to rowdy fights. Their cheeks make convenient pouches, where they store nuts and seeds to eat.
Habitat: Parts of South America and the Amazon rainforest, mostly in Brazil.
Diet: Nuts and seeds.
