Pokédex Entry: Prismirra are skittish Pokémon, often fleeing with their smaller charges, especially when they're basking and feeding. A hundred years ago, it was popular to fashion vanities and cheval into the image of a Prismirra, and sometimes one would come to dance with the object before realizing.
Prismirra is quite the strange-looking Pokémon. Its purplish body is composed of something like obsidian, and is slightly transparent. Its head floats in mid air, connected to two long, cylindrical, and bendy arms that comprise most of its height. At the end of these are disc-like appendages which have silver, reflective surfaces on them. It can form 'hands' with glass it creates. Its face is composed of two beady yellow eyes with a jagged mouth underneath. Shiny specimens are noted to have green eyes and a indigo-purple body.
Etymology: Prismirra is a combination of the words prism and mirror.
Gender Differences: None.
Special Abilities: Prismirra can produce a substance akin to glass, which it can use as an extension of its body. It can use this to play tricks of the light on people. The Pokémon also has the eerie ability to change what appears in mirrors and other such surfaces.
Behavior: Prismirra is an odd species, in that it is a ghost, but thrives off of the light. It is photosynthetic, so it obviously is found wherever there is an abundance of light (ironically, in the opposite place that most Ghosts would be). It is a leader among Myrristic, and because there are not many of them, it tends to take its position seriously. They are indifferent towards humans, simply Teleporting themselves and their charges away from any approachers. Not that they disdain them, no; it is their lifestyle. They are quite simple Pokémon, preferring to eat alone, then enjoy others' company in its own way.
Habitat: Prismirra are elusive Pokémon that appear in cities. They tend to stay out of plain sight, both liking to surprise others and to direct their pre-evolutions from the shadows.. They like urban areas because they not only get food, but a source of entertainment, as well; the nightlife is absolutely hilarious to terrify. If you find Myrristic, these are surely close by.
Diet: Prismirra delights in scaring humans and Pokémon alike, but it derives nutrition from a form of photosynthesis.
