Pokédex Entry: A self-assured Pokémon, Kuroline is the center of a lot of superstitions, given that a number of people have reported seeing one shortly after having a bout of poor luck.
Kuroline is a larger Pokémon than its pre-evolution, but with the same colour combinations. Its body is black in colour, its legs have a white stripe down each foreleg which end at white paws with black dots on them. Making them almost skull like in appearance, the skull pattern on its face is larger and goes down to its mouth. Its eyes are orange and cat-like, with black around the pupils instead of white. It still retains its purple whiskers, but the curling up fringe is longer. Its ears are white till they come to purple triangles. Its fish skeleton tail is much longer and still retains an eye hole, but this time it is white in colour instead of black.
Etymology: Kuroline is a combination of the words kuro, the Japanese word for black, and feline
Gender Differences: None.
Special Abilities: Despite its color, it can stealthily camouflage itself in the dark. Only its eyes and whiskers can be seen.
Behavior: Unlike its pre-evolution, Kuroline don't fall back on their cuteness. Instead they're more fierce creatures, they'll hunt down their prey for as long as needed, often chasing them out of their known haunts, they'll then return once the prey is caught or find a better place to hunt. Their stealth is unrivaled amongst the wild and city environments, though their eyes, whiskers and fringe are still visible.
This is a mere scare tactic to keep their prey haggard. Though not as immature as they once were, they're still known to play with their food. Studies have shown that Kuroline have a hatred for Houndoom and, in return, Houndoom has the same hatred for them. Often chasing or fighting between the two can be seen in any environment the two share. It's been reported to be as bad if not worse than the Zangoose and Seviper rivalry.
Habitat: Grassy and rocky hills where they can hide from their prey. They've also been spotted in cities, where they use the darkened alleys as their playground.
Diet: Small to medium mammals and, when given the chance, fish.
