Rather small, standing only two and a half feet tall, Azulif is a small blue bird-looking Pokémon. They are reminiscent of gryphons of lore, but their coloration and feather patterns are that of a blue jay. Their body is blue as are their primary pinions. Their more delicate feathers are a whiter blue, while they have some black stripes and highlights on their neck. Instead of having a bird-like tail, it is more feline-like in appearance, but it is banded like a quail's feathers. Shiny Azulif are purple instead of blue.
