Mew New Species Pokémon

It is capable of making itself invisible at will, so it entirely avoids notice even if it approaches people.

Mew is very obviously a smaller legendary Pokémon, having become a legendary out of rarity and age rather than through stature and power. This Pokémon appears as a mashup between a cat and and mammalian embryo, sporting a long thin tail that widens out just at the end. The Pokémon sports a rounded face with a pointed snout, short forelimbs, and muscular thighs that lead into an extended foot that seems well suited for spry quick movements when on land, however Mew is rarely grounded in its regular form. This Pokémon also has large eyes, and very short fur that gives it a fuzzy texture.

This Pokémon has also been known to transform into many other kinds of Pokémon, seeming to mimic them well beyond the capabilities of Ditto and other transforming Pokémon, even other legendaries (Although of course in this case it's unable to fully mimic their abilities). Due to its ability to learn a wide variety of moves, its attacks are often created by pinkish energy that it shapes into different forms for its attacks. This same pinkish energy also accumulates around its body when preparing for a serious battle, though this occurrence is very rare. In addition, this Pokémon is known to be able to hide itself completely from view, becoming perfectly invisible. Due to all of its elusive abilities, the Pokémon is often seen as being a mere hallucination or illusion by people and has rightfully earned it the nickname of the Mirage Pokémon.

First and foremost, Mew is a curious creature. While the Pokémon has lived for just nearly as long as life existed on the planet, there has been countless changes around the world which Pokémon has made a habit to explore. Despite Mew's seemingly naive curiosity, its age alone speaks volumes of its actual experience and adaptability. Its cunning and trickery developed over the years in order to disguise itself as other Pokémon and remain unnoticed as a Mew, as well as evading capture and hostility numerous occasions in its life. Yet this Pokémon seems to lack the caution usually associated with survival instinct, instead it seems fairly confident in its elusive abilities to the point it often enjoys conflict and finds them entertaining.

In more recent years, with the age of man rising, Mew has become more and more restless, possibly due to the stirring of the Darkness, but primarily out of simple boredom and its usual curiosity. Mew often finds interest in Pokémon as companions or playmates, even trusting them enough to bring back to the Tree of L
ife to play and possibly live. The Pokémon often gets quite lonesome while traveling around the globe and trying to remain undetected, and thus has the occasional tendency to spark mischief with its oddly obscure moral compass often blurring the lines of right and wrong, only rarely aiding those who it has taken a liking to, otherwise largely passive.

The festival was a bustling one, many people from all over the globe had come here to enjoy the festivities and celebration. Mew was not one to sit out an event like this, as it quickly made its appearance, or not as it's currently invisible. The Pokémon remained motionless hovering in the air above many of the stands. People, and Pokémon alike made their way from sight to sight, happy smiles filling their faces. Mew soon couldn't simply sit back and observe from a distance, enticed by the commotion, the Pokémon dropped from the skies towards the festivities, haphazardly taking on the guise of a Tailow, spreading its wings out and gliding just over many festival goer's heads. Darting through the air, the Pokémon twirled and wove around people and Pokémon alike, quickly taking in everything to see in the area, before fanning its wings out to brake its speed, and began a stationary hovering flutter by one of the stands which housed many different Pokémon treats.

Mew could smell the food and decided to nab some of the food. Circling around the back of another stand, Mew quickly changed shape taking on the form of a much larger Swellow, not bothering to slow down so long as its transformation was mostly covered, the Pokémon was out from the other side of the stand in flight nearly as fast as it had came. Mew darted right towards the Pokémon food stand, grabbing the handle of a basket, and lifting all the food inside up and away from the clerk who had quickly scrambled to catch the bird-looking Pokémon.

Having found a snack, Mew quickly made its way onto a high balcony on the castle wall looming over the festivities.
Reverting back into its true form, Mew casually plucked pieces of food from the basket enjoying them as it watched the people and Pokémon below, giving a light chuckle as the clerk continued looking around frantically as if confused where the Swellow had come from and where it had gone.
