A holdover from her younger years, Erebea has been with Evangeline since before the calamity that befell her first home. Upon reawakening and giving in to the Darkness seed, Erebea was corrupted far more thoroughly than Evangeline, soon becoming the manifestation of the girl's wickedness and lust for power. Over the years, Erebea has remained loyal only because of the lingering Darkness in Evangeline's soul, and was the greatest of the obstacles on the path of her redemption. Erebea wound up becoming the "final boss" that had to be overcome before she was fully redeemed, the wicked manifestation of her inner darkness defeated by the combined efforts of her friends in 3-A. Now purged of that Dark taint, Erebea's back to being your average trickster Gengar.

With Evangeline herself bound to the area of the Tree of Beginning, Sphaera refusing to leave her side, and Erebea kept on an extremely-short leash, Sagitta had become Evangeline's window into the outside world, keeping her up to date on events and goings-on she couldn't observe for herself. Tainted slightly by Evangeline's darkness--but by no means as severe as Erebea--Sagitta possesses a bloodthirsty streak and is very fond of scaring the complete and utter crap out of anyone she feels like screwing with at the time, but for the most part she's just doing it for laughs.

A resident of the forest in which Evangeline made her home, Dios happened upon the young girl one day when she was suffering one of her frequent, crippling bouts of loneliness and depression. Sympathizing with the girl, Dios attempted to comfort Evangeline, and was in return given a permanent home in Eva's cabin. How Eva came upon these abilities is a long and arduous tale...
It begins with the story of the Kingdom of the Vale and its demise at the hand of the two twin prince brothers that controlled Zekrom and Reshiram almost one thousand years ago. All that time ago, Evangeline was an a young girl living there, barely a girl of age when the war between the two brothers began. She grew up in love with her home, very much a typical girl of her age. Still, she was victim of that battle, just as the entire Vale was. When the two brothers fought, tearing the land apart with Zekrom and Reshiram's powers, the land responded. Legend says that the Dragon Force erupted that day... and Evangeline would confirm it. As the two dragon Legendaries fell to the ground and reverted to stone, Evangeline watched as her homeland and the homeland of her people was ripped asunder as the Dragon Force began to shatter the valley of the Vale.
Though the King of the Vale gathered his people together into his castle to use Victini's power and move the Sword of the Vale to its present location, Evangeline's family was not able to make it in time. Left behind, the Dragon Force tore apart the land, rendering it fruitless and dead... and Eva fell into the raw energy. In result, it ripped open the "nodes" or Evangeline's ability to channel power. In one supercharged instant, she was awoken as a Psychic and an Aura user of immense power... and with little chance to understand that power, her new, raw, abilities overcharged her small frame.
For decades, she would sleep as if stone, her body turned to rock from the Dragon Force and unable to handle the sudden awakening. For her own safety, her newly unlocked abilities encased her in stone for a century... while her body healed from the sudden ripping opening of power.
After that time, Evangeline would waken far from the Vale, after how long she did not know. As naked as the day she had been born, she wandered. Weary, she would get to her feet, only to hear a voice mock her, a sinister whisper in the back of her mind taunting her with power beyond measure. The girl of the Vale would ignore it and march forward, each step racking her body with immeasurable pain.
Reaching the Vale... she would find her land an eternal ruin, her people ripped asunder and spread to the far reaches of the world. Falling to her knees in sorrow, Evangeline gave into that seed of Darkness present within everyone... and it tainted her channels of energy, empowering her opened channels with its own power, tainting them with shadow energies.
At this time... she made a silent vow to never again be the powerless witness of such a loss. She swore to seek a scale of power that could not be measured to better protect the things she loved.
Years would pass, immeasurable time, as her wanders took her across the world. The powers she had awoken to would grow in scale as she developed new abilities and skills. She would eventually learn, however, that every day that passed was causing her body to rip itself apart. Too many energies of differing attributes dwelled within her young frame. As such, in a swift and decisive maneuver and using the knowledge of the Alchemists of the Vale, she forged a life stone, a Philosopher's stone of lore and began to use it to circumvent her aging.
Eva herself is mum on the word as to what else she really did during all of this time, though, safe to say, she has participated in a number of things. She has made passing comments on partaking in the events in Europe that caused the modern day concept of vampires, as well as being present when certain Japanese fighting styles were developed... What is known? At the time of the Aura Wars in Rota, Evangeline partook, posing as an adviser to the nobility there. She fought on the opposing side as Sir Aaron in the war, though for similar a cause. Shortly there after, at the Tree itself, she met the wanderer Faust. For some time, she traveled and learned from him, honing her powers from his knowledge. For a number of years, the two were what could be called vitriolic allies... at least until Faust recognized the Darkness within Eva and that that was what was driving her forth to seek more power.
Knowing that if he stayed with her, the Darkness would eventually seek to have her use him as a source of power too, he left. Feeling sure that Eva would eventually conquer the seed of Darkness within her, as it was not a true or full possession, he split apart from her. He did, however, seek to help her in that journey of healing. He trapped her near the Tree of Beginning with a sealing Aura skill, in hopes that its natural Aura and powerful energies would help dispel her of the dark within her. Furious at both the loss of her ally and his big-headed and meddling way of trying to "cure" her, she swore then to seek him out and kill him.
Granted... that was two hundred years ago.
Nowadays, with the recent construction of the Mahora City near the Tree of Beginning itself, Eva has at least had a chance to witness much of the modern day rather than being trapped near the base of the Tree. Enrolling herself in school there in hopes of keeping up the guise of a "normal life", she has managed quite well for herself. Over the years? She has managed to also trample out much of the want to give into that Dark seed within her, too... because if a couple decades of seventh grade over and over couldn't heal her of anything, nothing would.

Aikido: Even devoid of her Aura powers, she is still a very skilled fighter and can effortlessly take down a man twice her size, largely due to her mastery of the Japanese martial art Aikido. It is implied that Evangeline learned the art from its creator Morihei Ueshiba himself, as she casually referred to having "picked it up from that old geezer when I came to Japan." Such is her degree of mastery in Aikido that she is able to easily overcome already fearsome warriors like Setsuna and Asuna with her physical abilities alone.│

Aura Projection: As a seasoned Aura user and Psychic, Evangeline specializes in ice-based attacks and negatively-channeled Aura, and is shown to be incredibly powerful once in her full capacities. Her ice-like skills do not have an typed attribute, the way an Elemental skill might, and Eva has stated she only projects them as ice-like because it looks cool. Her negatively-charged Aura skills, however, act in such a way that they cancel out regular Aura attacks, making her quite capable against standard Aura users.│
Aura-Vampirism: Having been an Aura user for centuries, Eva has long since developed the ability to absorb the latent Aura found in all living beings into her own person. While she typically only takes Aura from humans because of its similarity to her own, she is capable of taking it from all living creatures. Generally, the only negative effect of this ability is a fainting spell for the victim. Eva is able to use this absorbed energy as Aura energy, or she can break it down into raw force and use it to power Psychic abilities. She can also use it to fuel her own life force, lengthening her life span.
