Circus [Male Mr. Mime] — Time is a circus, always packing up and moving away.
A gift from the troupe leader she worked under in Lumiose, Circus is Zazie's second Pokémon and is quite the clowny-mime his species is meant to be. Generally light-hearted, Circus participates in performing acts with Zazie on stage or during shows and he does quite well by himself. Quite jovial, he contrasts Zazie's placid personality well on stage, and the two have always been a decent hit because of this.

Diabolim [Male Shiny Haxorus] — I'll continue to try and balance like a circus act.
The Pokémon that she shares her DNA with, Diabolim is fierce and powerful, definitely Zazie's prized fighter. He is ruthless and skilled, a terror in battle, and boasts power that most prime Pokémon don't even come close to. Still, he is obedient to Zazie and is not rash or keen on straying from the girl's orders. Diabolim often spars with Mana's Ursaring.

Primaria [Female Octillery] — Clowns are the pegs on which the circus is hung.
Not as much of a fighter as she is the special effects department of Zazie's shows, Primaria can still hold her own when it comes to conflict. Still, she's not one to boast and is quite reserved in that department, rather preferring to let her skills show their worth rather than talk big. Primaria is the Pokémon Zazie is most often seen with and the Octillery gets along splendidly with Mana's Ursaring.

A shorter girl with tanned skin, Zazie stands just under five feet tall. She most often wears some form of circus or jester clothing, favoring blacks and purples. Her silver hair is cut just above her brows and is spiked in the back, while her forelocks fall to her shoulders. Zazie's face is most often painted with various symbols.

One of the initial projects of a genetic experiment headed in Europe, Zazie was born out of a company known simply as Ailés Rêves, founded by a Kalosian crime circle, in which genetic experiments and DNA spliced individuals were created for the purpose of pleasing their future owners. Zazie was one of the very first to come out of the group and was tailored to a very specific set of requests. Though future experiments would be genetically engineered to be obedient, Zazie was strangely placid despite its lack and made swift friends with another experiment who would become known as Mana Tatsumiya.

A surprising success, Zazie was the splice of human and Haxorus DNA. Though naturally placid, Zazie has a very strong streak to her, which manifested from her Haxorus genes. Her abilities display themselves by claws protruding from her fingertips at will, similar in fashion to Wolverine's. In truth, her fingers are claw sheaths, similar to a feline's, and her fingers "elongating" are really just her claws becoming unsheathed. Nevertheless, said claws are as durable as any Dragon-type Pokémon's, and provide her with a capable weapon.

Though Zazie was a success story, Mana was not what the company was looking for. Upon hearing that Mana would be culled, however, Zazie gutted nearly half of the facility before the two escaped together (it was this same distraction that allowed Setsuna to escape and would cause future experiments, such as Alice, to be genetically engineered to be much more placid and obeying).

During their escape, Zazie was separated from Mana. She eventually came to live in Lumiose City, hiding among the massive populace of the city. There, she spent a few years living and learning the ways of a street performer. It was during one production her troupe was putting on in a coastal Kalosian city that she was reunited with Mana. The two decided to make a fresh start for themselves and moved away from both past lives they'd been at to start a new one else where.  Where they were headed, one could not be certain. Why they settled upon Rota, one might say destiny, others might say that the Tree of Beginning felt like home, resonating with their supernatural natures. Either way, Mana and Zazie enrolled in Mahora for a semblance of a normal life.

Having now graduated and with their alumni knowing their origin, Mana and Zazie, to this day, remain in touch with their classmates. Zazie currently heads a production company in Mahora known as Nightmare Circus.
