Bellatrix [Female Scizor] — You better walk away.
Hardheaded, literally and figuratively, Bellatrix is Asuna's main stay in battle; she often leads with Bellatrix and finished up with Sauciata. Asuna captured Bellatrix as a Scyther and obtained the Metal Coat to evolve her from Chao. The Pokémon is brash, but makes up for its attitude with its sheer strength and prowess in battle. When not in a fight, Bellatrix often spends her time with Sauciata, as both have a penchant to train in their off time.

Sauciata [Female Escavalier] — Face this challenge.
The level-headed one of Asuna's combatant duo, Sauciata is Asuna's fall back when things get hairy or when Bellatrix over does things. The Escavalier is very protective of Asuna, almost kind of like an older sister to the girl. Sauciata evolved via exposure to Kaede's Accelgor, both of which were their unevolved forms prior. Sauciata is often seen chiding Ensis for being so foolhardy, though the Escavalier is very protective of the Tepig.

Ensis [Female Tepig] — Get back off my turf.
A pet given to Asuna by Takamichi when she came to Mahora City, Ensis has been at Asuna's side ever since. The small, rowdy Tepig is very brash and loud-spoken. He is quick to leap to Asuna's defense and slow to resort to rationality, taking after his owner's traits to a T. Ensis has no interest in evolving or growing up, content to remain Asuna's pet.

As far as looks go, Asuna has orange hair that she exclusively keeps in two long twin tails. She has heterochromia, her right eye is green and her left eye is blue. She's just above average height and is lean and fit. Clothing-wise, she prefers pants to skirts, but it's really a mixed bag with her, and she seems to be fond of wearing whatever. When she's traveling, she does favor outfits with bits of armor, primarily to accent her chosen weapon, a massive sword.

Asuna was born the sister of Arika Anarchia Entheofushia in Lavender Town in her youth. While she spent much of her early days there, growing used to the supernatural elements of the town, Asuna remembers nothing of her childhood or how she was estranged from her family. She does remember waking up alone and abandoned... only to be found and rescued shortly by a group of wandering trainers known as Ala Rubra who discovered that she had the ability to use powerful inherent abilities... which they attributed to her birth from Lavender Town.

She traveled with the members of this group for a time before they brought her to Mahora City to be raised there. She was enrolled in school by the school dean for free. Aura abilities were used to seal all knowledge of her childhood for her own safety. The 8th student in Japanese alphabetical order of class 3-A, she is the first student connected to her teacher Negi Springfield. She is close friends with Konoka Konoe.

Although initially appearing as a bullheaded, arrogant and slightly daffy girl, her encounters with Negi slowly awakens dormant abilities within her as well as a mysterious past that suggested she was something much greater and much worse than a mere middle-school student.

Asuna is often in conflict with other people, especially Ayaka Yukihiro. Asuna has a crush on her former homeroom teacher, Takamichi Takahata, whom Negi replaced. While in school for free by the school dean, yet she still tries to pay towards her schooling with her wages earned delivering newspapers. Much to her chagrin, she is "Baka Red" of the Baka Rangers and had the lowest test score average in the class, especially in English.

Following graduating, Asuna took up traveling the world with a few other members of the alumni of 3-A and is now a well-practiced fighter and Trainer.

Hand-to-Hand Combat: Asuna has shown herself to be deceptively strong, as shown from her ability to throwing things at Evangeline. Her overall abilities are great enough that she was able to fend off Evangeline's attacks. According to Setsuna, Asuna is adept at hand-to-hand combat as well.

Kankahō: Asuna learned the abilities of Kankahō from Gateau Vandenburg. Combining the forces of Aura and ki, she is able to fight with some Aura skills, even with her own immunity from supernatural attacks. It does, however, drain Aura power much swifter than any other Aura fighting style... but because it has many uses, it is often considered one of the best Aura techniques.

Swordsmanship (Fullblade): In terms of fighting style, Asuna relies mainly on swordplay, and thus would be considered a sword skills specialist. Aside from her initial training with Setsuna, she is basically on a "learn as you go" training regimen thus her skill has developed by fighting rather than formal instruction, becoming even more capable with every fight. While usually performing right-handed, Asuna appears to be ambidextrous as she has shown proficient skill wielding her sword in her left.

Supernatural Canceling: A natural ability held within Asuna from birth, seemingly proved by her sheer immunity to the supernatural effects of Lavender Town. Asuna was born with the ability to cancel out skills that are charged supernaturally. This doesn't mean she can see through illusions, just that pure supernatural attacks seem to "wash" over her. This wouldn't stop a psychic from, say, lifting a rock with telekinesis and pummeling her with it, though. It does however, make her nearly immune to all Status-based Elemental abilities, good and bad.
