Siren [Female Milotic] — The siren waits thee, singing song for song.
As swift and calm as her owner, Siren is anything but what her name suggests. She typically is seen swimming with her owner, training just as hard as Akira might. Siren does have a sense of humor, though, and often plays good-humored tricks on Akira in the form of splashing water at the girl. Akira sees the Milotic as somewhat of a sister.

Valida [Female Politoed] — This life is like a swimming pool. You dive into the water, but you can't see how deep it is.
A Pokémon given to her by her parents, Valida is the only other Pokémon Akira uses for battle when the need arises. Valida is a bit of a goof, always tripping over her own webbed feet. When not swimming in the pool with Akira, Valida enjoys napping, sunshine and oranges.

Yamamoto [Male Relicanth] — I have often wanted to drown my troubles.
A gift to the Swimming Club, Akira took Yamamoto in as her own when the fish was gifted to them. The creature doesn't even really know Akira, spending much of his time in the fish tank where he's kept. In fact, Akira doesn't even keep Yamamoto with her, he instead stays at her family's house in Mahora City.

A curvy, rather tall girl, Akira has an athletic build. Her long brown hair is most often kept pulled back and up, out of her eyes and face. She has dark blue eyes that border on black. Finally, she prefers wearing comfortable clothing with a lot of ability to move in them. These outfits are usually are dark colors, such as black or blue.

Born in Mahora City and raised there, Akira has spent much of her life in the pool. She learned how to swim when she was only three and took to the water like a fish. Like many girls from well off families in Mahora, she attended Mahora All Girl's Academy from a young age, starting in pre-school and graduating from High School most recently.

The 6th student on the class 3-A roster, she is a tall, athletic, and very quiet girl in the Swimming Club. She is so good at swimming that the Mahora High School Swimming Club was looking to recruit her when she was only in middle school. Akira is one of the most mature students in the class of girls that has been together from a young age. She cares a lot for her friends, but knows what is right and wrong. With a strong sense of morals, many of the more energetic students look up to Akira as if she were almost the pillar of strength in the group.

Throughout school, she was best friends with Yuuna and Ako, spending most of her time with the other two girls while staying focused on her studies. Upon graduating from the Academy, she joined a professional swim team and is currently looking to attend the upcoming Olympics.

Appearance-wise, Akira typically wears a tank top of some shade of blue with jeans. Her preferred clothing is short sleeved or fully sleeveless. Her hair is a dark brown and, when it is not pulled back, it falls nearly to her mid-back. With eyes as blue as the water she loves, Akira looks for all the world like an average woman with average build. She has a rounded face, though, with welcoming eyes and a tall frame.

Swimming: Akira has demonstrated great speed and agility as an ability. This allowed her to easily catch up with others as well as making her a very capable swimmer. Akira also exhibits great ability in swimming, being both agile and powerful in the water. While she was in middle school at Mahora Academy, the high school at Mahora was looking to recruit her due to her skill. She is almost more at home while in the pool than out of it.
