Originally a stray Eevee that lived in the streets of Mahora, Joculatri was fed and cared for by Misora during the girl's times assisting the city's church. Becoming very attached to the hyperactive girl, Joculatri took to following her around the city, waiting patiently for her outside of Mahora Academy during classes, and trying to help her whenever possible. Though Misora's classmate, Ayaka Yukihiro, offered to buy her a Poké Ball so she could catch the Eevee, Misora didn't feel any such things were necessary. Joculatri became practically glued to Misora's shadow, and during her middle school years, her classmates constantly questioned her as to what form she wanted to evolve Joculatri into.
