Avon [Male Albino Floatzel] - It's the same old you, the same old me.
It was reported that an unusually high concentration of albino Pokémon had been sighted at the Valley Windworks, where Bedford caught his favorite Pokémon, an Albino Floatzel. When Bedford found the Floatzel, he felt instinctively drawn to it and compelled to capture it. As it turned out, his younger sister, Mina, managed to capture a member of the same colony as well. Similar to his sibling and her Biscotti, Bedford rarely travels without Avon, his most prized Pokémon. The two seem to get along quite well even though they have vastly different opinions and personalities.

Kent [Male Meowth] - You get bored and I get cold feet.
After doing his research before the auction started, Bedford had won Meowth at an auction held at Veilstone City's Game Corner. He knew that Meowth was crafty and intelligent even when out of the jungle. This was despite being uncommon throughout the Sinnoh region and often considered a threat to the likes of Starly. Following that, Bedford took part in the bidding and won the Scratch Cat Pokémon. It is his uncanny ability to find coins and other valuable shiny items that makes him a favorite Pokémon of Bedford's.

Dorset [Male Snorunt] - Get high, get wandering eyes.
When Bedford heard that there was a Pokémon in the far northern reaches of Sinnoh that would bring fortune to one's household, he immediately packed his bags and headed to Snowpoint City for a 'vacation'. In reality, the vacation was nothing more than an excuse to display his greed, which is what he does best. Fortunately for him, despite not realizing how rare a creature it is, he did find a Snorunt. Despite being extremely quiet, the Snorunt appears to be very devoted to his trainer.

He is considered by his peers to be a person of exceptional character. A thick, oily gel is used to slick back his auburn hair, which has been slicked back with a thick comb. On occasion, he scruffs up his hair to avoid being recognized when he is on a heist or working the mark. This is so that he does not get caught by the police. There isn't anything fancy he likes to do with it because he does not like to show off. In terms of the color of his eyes, Bedford has brown eyes.

As far as clothing is concerned, Bedford wears a plain white shirt with a purple blazer over the top of it. It is pertinent to note that all buttons on the blazer are left unfastened. It has a white silk lining in its interior, which gives it a luxurious look. The smart, beige and very expensive-looking trousers he is wearing are held aloft by a brown leather belt. Having a set of checkered shoes with a brown and black colour scheme, the young man wears his sneakers with pride.

It is almost impossible to miss Bedford smoking a cigarette when he is out and about. In the company of his little sister, however, he is unable to do so.

Due to Bedford's sarcasm, pessimism, as well as his self-centred cynicism, he has been regarded as one of the most antagonistic individuals in Driftveil City. The majority of the people he meets are drawn to these characteristics immediately and tend to take a wary or active dislike of him as a consequence. Taking into account his general attitude, he does fit nicely into the stereotype of an older brother in terms of his personality.

The fact that he has a very autonomous personality makes him reluctant to connect with anyone. When he first started his career, for example, he told his fellow drifters not to bother remembering his name. This is because he didn't intend on staying with them for a long time. A few hints of his violent, criminal past surface from time to time. This includes the debacle that occurred when it was revealed that it was illegal for him to carry a gun, as well as his violent, criminal history. There is no doubt that Bedford has a great deal of experience when it comes to first aid kits as well.

Rafael has been training under the guidance of Marlene at the Veilstone Gym for a couple of years now. He believes that finding your dream is the first step to achieving it. As far as he is concerned, his motto is what guides him in all that he does. His philosophy is that if you aren't willing to do everything in your power to push the extra mile, then you shouldn't have the right to call yourself a fighter. However, this does not mean he is one who is hesitant to deal with personal issues when the need arises. Most importantly, he is a man who lives by the mantra of dreaming big and doing everything in his power.

Born and raised in Floraroma Town, Jane moved to Veilstone to get away from the country life for as long as she could. She took only her Bonsly with her to do so. It was there that she met Rafael, and the rest is history as they say. It is safe to say that she is very loving, but she can also be overbearing and a worrywort at times. She would do anything to ensure that her children were well taken care of. It would be appropriate to draw a comparison between her and any modern-day character, but in my opinion, one of the most appropriate comparisons that can be made would be with Molly Weasley of the Harry Potter series. She has a dream of owning all of the Bonsly.

Bedford, her brother, is outgoing and confident, while Mina is quiet, shy, and introverted. Throughout her life, Mina relied on others (primarily because she hid behind them from unknown people). Although Mina is a bit shy at first, she is pleasant for a young girl once she's drawn out of her shell.

Jane Delaney gave birth to Bedford, their first child. The second was his sister, Mina. In his early life, Bedford was unable to be silenced and did adventurous things despite expectations. During his time at school, he picked on a lot of kids, even after he left. He would often protect his sister by beating up the boys who picked on her.

While he loves nothing more than his little sister, who is more precious to him than anything else, there is one thing that comes close to matching that love. The gambling industry. When it comes to gambling and risk, he has an unmatched lust for it, and if he can benefit from it, even better.

It was this need for material and money that galvanized Bedford to become a drifter, and before long, he realized he was very, very adept at it, whether it be simple magic tricks at a bar, or conning somebody into buying something from him; whether it was sleight of hand or full-blown drifting jobs, Bedford became renowned, if not infamous.

In later years, as the criminal career of Bedford blossomed, he began to realize that he was capable of generating luck. A word like this meant more than just one thing. His belief was that the more luck he had, the more money he would make and the better he would be at his job. His goal, therefore, was to collect as many Pokémon he believed would bring him luck as possible, and he still continues to do so. An albino Floatzel, looking very similar to his sister's Buizel, emerged from some rushes as he waited for a sign that it would be worth his time.

He met his partner, an albino Floatzel named Avon that day. Although the Floatzel initially struggled with Bedford's lifestyle, it has now developed a tolerance for it and even endorses it, helping him achieve his greedy goals. Avon takes on any responsibilities Bedford cannot take on, and Bedford does the same for him.

The young man had just arrived home and was sitting on the porch. Despite the hope abounding in his heart, the courage in his spirit remained strong as he bent his head downward. In an attempt to impress his trainer, Avon perched alongside him and wiggled his wallet out of his hand. The twenty-five-year-old redhead ignored him.

As a result of his efforts today, he achieved another goal. One of those typical rich Unovan types who don't keep an eye on their finances. His heartbeat was pounding with a distinct rhythm as he felt euphoric. Furthermore, he had managed to steal a note from an old lady's purse on his way home.

As he smirked, he relaxed his feet now that he had returned home.

"Flo!"

"Quiet, Avon..."

His best friend, the Floatzel, tugged at his trouser leg repeatedly and with much effort. Eventually, Bedford turned his attention to him.

"Flo! Floatzel!"

Looking toward the pathway, the large otter-like Pokémon pointed ahead. A glance ahead caught his attention. After a moment, his glee melted at the sight of a shorter, smaller person walking down the path. There was also a diminutive white Pokémon accompanying the easily recognizable character. After breaking into a run, she headed straight for him. He had no idea why she was so late home from school, but she was always a welcome sight.

"Bedford!"

At the sound of her voice, he glanced at her with a gruff smile.

"Hey, Mina."
