Pach has been with Zoe since she was only just a Surskit and she is close friends with Beethoven. Pachelbel is the "beauty" contestant and Zoe couldn't ask for better. Pachelbel is very good at playing the party and she does it almost by nature. She is not stuck up, though, by any means, she just has an airy, slightly divine nature, almost like a mystical fairy might.

Hoven has also been with Zoe since she was young. Rambunctious and adventuresome, Beethoven is the suave playboy of Zoe's contest crew. He's never one to back down from a challenge, and, indeed, if he wasn't a contest Pokémon, he might be prone to be a fiery fighter that blazed across the battlefield. Nevertheless, he's adept at coming off the cool guy on stage.

Mozart [Male Azumarill] — Cute is when a person's personality shines through their looks. Like in the way they walk, every time you see them you just want to run up and hug them.
The goof and clown of the party, Mozart is the cute one. He knows how to squeeze Zoe into forgiving him of any mischief he might get into. One glance at those huge, glossy, cutesy eyes and he melts her heart to mush. He's quite talented at looking the adorable ball of fluff.

Brahms [Male Onix] — It's different when you hit him because he's just so fast and strong. It wasn't a surprise but he's just a tough guy.
Being the one that Zoe uses for contests requiring toughness, Brahms is, without a doubt, the perfect choice for such displays. Still, he's actually rather gentle, despite his appearance and the stereotype his species receives... He's more prone to curling up gently around his friends and teammates than he ever will be displaying his strength off the stage.

Chopin [Female Shuppet] — You always have to be aggressive, but patiently aggressive is probably being smart.
Clever and never one to mince her words, Chopin is the "smart" one of the group. She is wise beyond her young years and is truly a remarkable piece of work. Had she any love of battling, she would likely out wit many well trained fighters. Luckily, she feels her talents lie in contests and so Zoe uses her for when contests require a bit of a smart-edge.

It should be the thing never to mention unfairness of judging when defeated in a contest. wrote:Zoe is of middling height, standing five feet, five inches tall. She has a small frame, though she caries herself with dignity. Her hair is a light dirty-blonde and it is almost always pinned up in various fashions. Her favorite is pinning it up in a bun and letting two locks fall before her ears. Her hair clips are normally violet. Her eyes are hazel and her ears are pierced, though she changes her earrings too often to say what her favorite pair is. When her hair is down, it goes almost to her mid-back.
On a normal day, Zoe will wear a violet dress that falls just above her knee. Down its front is a white strip of fabric that tapers to a point in her midsection. The straps of the dress are about two inches wide and they are also white, resting on her shoulders. She typically wears white shoes with this dress.
During contests, however, Zoe's outfit changes to a pink and white dress. The dress bells out at the waist, the pink section tapering out to reveal the white under section, which is embroidered at the bottom hem. On her shoulders are wing light straps, also white. The back of the dress is tied with a large pink bow. Zoe wears white elbow length dress gloves with this contest dress as well as a pair of pink heeled boots with white trim on them.
When you are in any contest... you should work as if there were — to the very last minute — a chance to lose it. This is battle. This is politics. This is anything. wrote:Zoe is righteous, loving and typically good-natured. She believes most people have good intentions at heart, though she knows some can be otherwise. Typically, she's a gentle natured person with a bit of spunk mixed in. She likes to enjoy herself and she likes to see others enjoying themselves.
She does have a bit of a sense of justice and she hates to see people do wrong, often trying to steer them away from doing so. Zoe can be a bit of a sore loser, but she chooses to bottle this up and only be sore by herself or around her team, instead of displaying it like she knows she shouldn't. She can also have a bit of a tongue when someone is really riling her up.

Mrs. Reina Fitzgerald is a woman with a lot of love in her old heart and a lot of sense in her head. She fostered many children since the passing of her dear husband and she loves all of them dearly. She's a bit of a batty old crone, but she's not above having a little fun with her four kids. Sometimes her foster kids call her "Fitzy."
The real contest is always between what you've done and what you're capable of doing. You measure yourself against yourself and nobody else. wrote:Zoe was born in Oreburgh City to parents she barely remembers. They were killed in a car wreck when she was one and she has been in orphan homes and foster care ever since that young age. It was during this time that her social worker gifted her with Pach and Hoven, whom have been her companions for quite some time.
When she was five, she ended up being fostered with a boy of the name of Aadin. They grew close, as brother and sister, and both eventually ended up in the foster care of Reina Fitzgerald. Later, Reina would foster Rylee and Goose, eventually adopting all four of the children in her care. Zoe couldn't be happier and she genuinely loves Reina like a grandmother.
Upon turning ten, Zoe became highly interested in contests, and decided she would become a coordinator. Often traveling from Floraroma to Hearthome City with Fitzy, she would watch and sometimes participate in the juvenile divisions of the contests that took place there.
As she aged, Zoe began to hone her craft and skill as a coordinator, though she never did strive often to leave home. Being the eldest, she almost preferred staying with Fitzy and helping the woman with things around the house and with the younger children Fitzy would sometimes foster.
When she turned eighteen, however, Zoe realized that the brother she loved very dearly had become entangled with Team Galactic. Determined to get Aadin out of the mess he was in, she left home to track down her foster brother and set him straight. She currently tails him and pesters him to leave the devious gang to no avail.

He tugged absently at the sleeve of his uniform, straitening out the wrinkles that had gathered at his elbow. He glanced back at her, raising a delicate eyebrow. Zoe only continued to scowl.
Moments of silent grew thicker and longer. Minutes passed, and Aadin settled more comfortably against the wall he leaned upon. Zoe's mood worsened.
They were in Jubilife, just outside the Department Store. Zoe had tracked Aadin down this far, all the way from Floraroma Town. But, so far, he had proved as stubborn as a Tauros to persuade to come back home. Finally, after roughly five minutes had passed, she opened her mouth to speak. He cut her off before she could.
"I'm not going back."
Zoe frowned deeper. "Fitzy misses you. She's worried."
"No more worried than she is about Rylee and Goose. I don't see you tracking them down."
"Because they're not in league with Team Galactic!"
Aadin sighed and shook his head. "I want to do this."
"Why? Why would you want to be a criminal!" Zoe exclaimed, fisting her hands and thrusting them down to her sides while stamping her foot on the ground.
"I just finally found something I want to do, Zoe." Aadin shook his head once more.
The brunette girl scowled again and recrossed her arms. "I'm not giving up on you."
And, at this, Aadin smiled slightly, fondly. "I know."
