Sky High [Male Braviary] — Sky ha-ha-ha-ha-hiiiiigh!
Keith's oldest companion, Sky High is prone to a few things. One, acts of unmatched bravery. Two, hotshot flying. And three, chronic airheadedness when not in battle. In truth, Sky High is basically exactly like Keith in every way. When Keith is flying, Sky High is more or less always there with him. Granted, he can't keep up with the jets Keith flies, but in spirit? Keith has always trained with Sky High concerning air battle mounted on the bird's back.

Tamashii [Male Pidgeot] — The king of heroes appears!
Much more stern and by the book than Sky High, Tamashii is the wing that Keith leans on when he needs a good amount of support. Tamashii is a damn good fighter, despite the typical weaknesses of his breed. In truth, he just tries his best for Keith and it is as simple as that. The bird is something of a stubborn know-it-all, though, and always tends to insist that he's right when he gets into an argument with Sky High.

More of a pet than a fighter, John can certainly hold her own in battle, at the least. Keith actually isn't aware that John is a female Arcanine. He just assumed that the Pokémon was a male and hasn't even bothered to think otherwise. John is devoted to Keith and she doesn't even seem to care that Keith mistook her as a boy. She does everything in her power to make Keith's life better.

Blonde and blue eyed and standing some five feet, eleven and a half inches tall, Keith is pretty recognizable in a crowd. With broad shoulders and a somewhat hefty build, Keith keeps his body in fighting shape. His jawline is square and heavy, but his face is never without a smile.

Clothing-wise, Keith dons pretty generic stuff. Mostly it's a white shirt, his denim bomber jacket and some jeans and kicks. When he's flying his jet, he'll wear a jumpsuit issued by the Unova Air Force, of course. His only defining features outside of this are a tattoo on his right bicep, the symbols of his squadron, and a necklace with a small shuriken charm from Ivan.

Keith is a happy, good-hearted person who places a lot of emphasis on politeness and is often described as an airhead. He often repeats himself, such as in his catchphrase: "thank you, and again, thank you" because he wants to make sure others understand him.

Loyal to his cause and to justice, he is basically a typical fighter pilot. Basically, he's one of those people most in the Unova Air Force see as an Adonis because of his profession. He doesn't act like a stuck-up jerk ass, though. But, when he's in his jet, he certainly acts a lot more serious, given the nature of flying.

A retired fighter pilot from the Unova Air Force, Greg is the entire reason that Keith even became a pilot in the first place. Highly patriotic, he is damned proud of his son. Most often, he can be seen tending to his garden in his retirement.

Loving her husband and son as much as she does, it's not amazing that Clara typically just goes with whatever her son and husband are up to. Meaning, they have her full support. She's a bit of a fanatic about the current challengers of the Unova League and battles in general.

Born in Castelia, Keith has known what he wanted to do since he was four. He has long since trained and studied to be a fighter pilot, and, when he was nineteen and the dream came true, he was ecstatic. Years have passed since then and he typically goes on doing much of the same thing. He loves the crap out of his life.

A handful of years ago, he went to Vermilion to visit his mother's family. Wandering one day, he happened across a group trying to beat up a smaller boy. Sending out the Accelgor he owned at the time, Keith ordered the Accelgor to attack and chase away the thugs, he himself stepped forward and scooped up the terrified ninja. Taking the boy back to the Pokémon Center, he returned him to his family. For the next couple days, while Keith and Ivan spent time in Vermilion, the two began to grow together.

For the next two weeks, they would be near inseparable, and, when the separation did indeed come, it wasn't very pleasant. Keith even left Cyclone, the Accelgor, with Ivan to protect and keep him company. So Keith returned to Castelia and Ivan returned to Fuschia.

Their companionship did not end there. Keith visited Ivan many times from his home in Castelia. Ivan also took one or two trips to Keith's home in Unova. Needless to say, they developed a relationship despite their significant age gap. Keith doesn't care how much younger Ivan is, he loves the boy with all his damn heart. When Ivan did graduate from the academy, he moved in with Keith in Unova and has lived there ever since.

Pilot: Having been training and working as a fighter pilot for upwards ten years now, Keith is damn good at his job. He has all the skills necessary to pilot most jets he's trained in. He is a bit of a hotshot flier, but he'll never disobey a direct order and he is proud to be on the front skyline when the need is there.

Jesus, it was like flying with a blindfold on. Guidance, radar, GPS, radio. It was all fuckered up.

Keith banked around the falling debris of the C-130 and spared a half second glance to where he thought the jumpers might be. He couldn't see them, but he sure hoped they were okay. He leveled out the F-15 he was flying and shot after a Plasma F-16.

The bastard banked down, ironically zipping over the heads of some strategically placed Seafoam operators. The F-16 continued towards the city. Keith's F-15 followed and fired, short bursts coming from the M61 gatling cannon in an attempt to clip the other plane's tail. The Plasma pilot pitched his plane back and forth to avoid the fire and then accelerated towards the buildings of Castelia, likely hoping to lose Keith in the swarm of fighting that was going on in the skies over the capitol of the Unova region.

"Not in my city you don't, bastard."

Keith held the trigger down again, another burst of fire aimed towards the F-15. It struck the enemy plane's left wing, clipping through metal and causing smoke to plume out of the bird's structure. The F-16 banked right and left, trying to shake the blonde man from his tail. The Unovan native fired again, a second burst of rounds very nearly sheering off the F-16's right wing and part of its tail. The enemy plane, billowing smoke, banked in some kind of poor attempt at either getting away from Keith or because it was about to crash.

But Keith wasn't about to let the other pilot out of this alive.

Keith fixed the reticle over the the F-16. Though it made little difference with communications down, out of habitual nature he gave the line he was trained to when firing missiles and pressed the button to release one of his last Sidewinder's from under his plane's wing. The missile homed in on the other plane and soared forward. the explosion was a multi-plumed blossom of smoke, fire and debris that glowed brilliantly in the rising sun of the dawn.
