Symphony [Female Bellossom] — This is what I want in heaven... words to become notes and conversations to be symphonies.
Symphony is Henry's world and his everything. When he was young, his family took him on a trip to the National Park. There he met Symphony as an Oddish and they hit it off as companions relatively quickly. Symphony evolved into a Bellossom on the same day that Henry got his first gig as a DJ. She absolutely loves all musics and often dances around Henry when he's at his turn tables or when he's mixing tracks at his computer.

Stanza [Male Chatot] — I loved the first stanza, because to me this war is kind of senseless.
Henry was given Stanza when he was still younger, around the age of ten. The Chatot took to him rather quickly and often rides around on his shoulder. Stanza is a feisty little devil and is a bit of a prankster, taking any opportunity he gets to pester people he adores... Stanza absolutely adores messing with Christian and will often hop on the man's shoulders and nip at his ears. Christian hates the little devil and often threatens to roast him on a spit.

Deejay [Male Cacnea] — I love the whole DJ vibe thing.
Henry's Cacnea is just as hyper and happy as he can be himself. Deejay is every bit of a ball of joy, which is kind of frightening considering how prickly the small Cacnea is. Deejay is one of the two Pokémon that Henry managed to capture when he visited the Safari Zone in Johto. Getting along great with Harmony, Deejay isn't much of a fighter (most of Henry's team isn't up to fighting), but he does enough an occasional spar.

Harmony [Female Chimecho] — Opposition brings concord. Out of discord comes the fairest harmony.
The other of Henry's Safari Zone captures, Harmony is nothing like her Cacnea companion. She is much more reserved and is content to be so. She is perhaps the polar opposite of Deejay in every way: quiet, calm and patient. Harmony has a bit of a sweet tooth and adores sweet Poffins and candy. She has a sleepy demeanor and often curls up in Henry's arms or on his shoulder opposite of Stanza.

Tempo [Male Loudred] — At gatling-gun tempo word-perfect the first time out.
A brute with a passion for battle, Tempo is one of Henry's only two Pokémon that he has that actually has a knack for battling. Tempo is a bit unrefined in the notion that he's all charge and no plans, however, and that often gets him into a fix during a fight. He's pretty adept at getting himself out of fixes too, though. Nevertheless, he's probably one of Henry's better fighters, right behind Pulse and Symphony.

Pulse [Female Ampharos] — But hark! My pulse like a soft drum, beats my approach, tells thee I come.
Pulse is Henry's other battler and is much more competent than Tempo is. Henry was given the Ampharos when his family took a trip to Azalea Town. The Ampharos was already fully evolved and was already a decent fighter. The Trainer that owned her prior traded her to Henry in exchange for a Quagsire he had captured by chance. Pulse is regal, but not stuck up, and enjoys a good song. Pulse is, by far, the best combatant in Henry's party.

Henry stands roughly five feet, five inches tall. His hair is a bright neon-green color, though he's naturally a brunette under all that Manic Panic hair dye. Henry usually styles his hair up into a spiky array, though he sometimes also leaves it down, where it falls in a typical boy style over his eyes. His eyes are naturally brown, but Henry is extremely fond of colored contacts, his favorite being a magenta pair he's almost never without. Piercing-wise, Henry settles for two sets of studs in each ear.

Outfit-wise, Henry dresses rather... flamboyantly. He wears a black leotard that covers most his body, though the left arm is cut off at the shoulder and the right arm changes to a fishnet pattern at the upper arm before switching back to a solid fabric to cover his lower arm and his three inside fingers. On his left arm he wears a black arm warmer which is trimmed with a violet color, just like the trim on his leotard. His shorts (short-short style) are blue with white trim and are belted at his waist with a violet belt and silver buckle. His boots are also blue with white fastenings and knee "armor" on them.

He also wears a yellow, orange and red smiley-face wallet chain and a large assortment of neon and techno-type bracelets on either arm he deems wanting that morning. Another bracelet he wears is modeled off of the bangles seen on Ifrit in Final Fantasy X: a gold bangle with zigzag grooves and a large red, orange and yellow tassel-tail. Henry also wears a black collar around his neck with purple trim that matches his leotard and is adorned with fishnet accents.

Lastly, but definitely most important... Henry can never be seen without a pair of headphones. He has three favorites, a violet set he most often wears, a teal one that Christian gave him for his birthday one year, and his neon green show set that glows in the dark. All three are noise canceling.

Henry is a happy-go-lucky, laid back goofball without a care in the world. He always has a song on his lips and he always is ready to cheer people up when they're feeling down. He himself has trouble being upset and it takes something very upsetting to even bother him sometimes.

He is a tad on the eccentric side and he can be a bit odd, especially when concerning music, and when he goes off on a tangent about such things. Either way, he's a fun kid to be around and he never stays upset or angry for long.

Henry takes after his father quite a bit. Augie is very artistic, just like his son, and he is thrilled that Henry is a musician/DJ. Augie works as a painter and he has some fame to his name. He's a bit... eccentric, though. Augie doesn't mind that his son is gay (he's actually kind of happy, because he always suspected it) and he supports Henry completely.

Absolutely in love with her son's music and her grandchild and son-in-law, Indica is every bit a kind soul. She's all for chasing your dreams, no matter how foolish. Indica works at a small floral arrangement shop in Ecruteak. Like her husband, she supports Henry's homosexuality.

Henry was born in Ecruteak City, where he has lived for most of his life. His best friend in grade school was none other than the now well know professor, Katy Rhome, and they have been close contacts even since she left for Celadon and started traveling there after. She is even the Godmother of his adopted son.

Henry took to music at quite a young age, ever since he got his five-year-old hands on an old keyboard he found while his parents were at a garage sale. He hasn't stopped playing music since, though he's long since upgraded his keyboard. He managed to find club gigs throughout his high school years and also managed to garner a bit of DJ fame from said jobs.

When he turned twenty, Henry met the guitarist of the Trodes, Christian, and the two of them developed a relationship. The guitarist and the DJ hit it off with ease and, though they had some rough spots, they ended up loving one another. After about a year or two of being together and Christian being a way from the band, Iota, Dashiell and Salli made the move to Ecruteak and signed with the studio there. The Trodes were back in business and Henry also had found a steady DJing job.

With both a successful band and a boyfriend to go with, Christian settled happily into Ecruteak. When he and Henry were both twenty-four, they adopted Thyssen, their then three-year-old son. Henry continues to record with his friends and continues to love his family to this day.

Henry settled back into the sofa in front of the fire place. A warm meal in his stomach, made by Christian's masterful cooking skills, and his beloved son on his lap with his face buried into his chest... Henry couldn't be happier. In truth, this was paradise on earth for him. Christian walked over, drying his hands on his shirt, having just finished cleaning the dishes from dinner. The musician smiled at him. Henry returned the grin and made a "shh" sound with a gesture down at Thyssen.

He peered down at his young son. The boy was now five, having turned of age not a month ago. Christian settled down on the sofa. sitting next to them and leaning up against the DJ. He stroked Thyssen's brown hair softly, watching the small child with more warmth in his eyes than even the fire nearby. The couple, the family, curled into each other. Henry laid his head on Christian's shoulder, sighing in content.

"This. This is paradise, lover..."

"I know. ...I know."
