Sommeil [Female Chandelure] — You're blue, have weird ears, sound like a girl, and breathe fire... You're a thing.
Sleepy and friendly, most would pass Sommeil over as a Pokémon not meant for fighting. True, she isn't the most striking in the lot, but she is Hypnos's strongest. Looks can sometimes be deceiving. Sommeil is fond mostly of tactics that involve status effects or dodging, and doesn't prefer going full onslaught into the headway of a battle. Sommeil has been with Hypnos since the boy was four and his family took a trip to the Celestial Tower. Then a playful little Litwick, Sommeil took to teasing the family and Hypnos befriended him easily given their similar attitudes.

Lezatt [Male Frillish] — I don't know about 'justice'.
In contrast to Sommeil, Lezatt is feisty and direct, ready to fight at almost any given moment. This doesn't make him have an unlikable demeanor, though, as he loves Hypnos and his companions very much and will do anything for his friends. He just enjoys fighting, is all.

Nemuru [Female Lilligant] - I should just roast you and eat you right now!
Captured as more of an accident and at first not meant to be a fighter, Nemuru was more of a pet Pokémon to start. Hypnos managed to capture her when he took a trip to Lostlorn forest with his brother. Capturing the small, friendly little Grass-type was a matter of feeding it Poffins. It was only later that Nemuru proved she was a capable fighter.

Nidre [Female Mismagius] — I'm not part of you or a substitute.
Like most Mismagius, Nidre is mischievous and playful, always ready to pull a prank on the non-wary individual (and sometimes on those prepared). An atypical Ghost-type in that regards, Nidre carries this mischievousness over with her onto the battle field, taking time nicking away the health of her opponents for a good laugh.

Aija [Female Shiny Froslass] — That was too easy. Nobody can beat us.
A gift from his father when he successfully earned rights to call himself a mercenary of the Fabrel family, Aija hasn't been with Hypnos as long as the others, but she loves the boy just the same. Aija is adept at snow and ice tactics, having been trained by their father with his own Ice-type Pokémon.

Dormiti [Male Drifblim] — If it's kill or be killed, then dammit, I'm killing!
More of a mistake capture than anything, Dormiti was captured when he was just a Drifloon trying to tangle his hands into Hypnos's hair. Taken with the little creature, Hypnos tapped it with a Poké Ball and the little balloon hardly put up a fuss. Now, Dormiti is one of Hypnos's best fighters.

Magama [Female Sableye] — We're both real. You and I are two different people!
Given to him on his fifth birthday, Magama hatched a few months later under Hypnos's care. Twin to Thanatos's own Sableye, Magama was Hypnos's second Pokémon and was given to him as a pet rather than a contender. As such, the Pokémon rarely stays in her Poké Ball and is most often seen on Hypnos's shoulder or in his backpack sleeping.

Standing an average five feet, five inches tall, Hypnos bears a close resemblance to most of the Fabrel family from years past. With striking red hair and turquoise eyes that turn dark blue when the family is angered, Hypnos is typical for his appearance among his family mates. Hypnos keeps his hair cut in a short, layered look with ear locks that fall to his collarbone. His jawline is soft and boyish, giving him a younger look than most others his ages.

For defining features, he bears tattoo on his left bicep; the symbol of his house. It is an innate heart over crossed with swords and feathers. Also on his left arm, just a few inches above his wrist, is a faint scar from where he broke his wrist when he was eight.

Clothing-wise, Hypnos wears the exact opposite in colors to is brother. A white coat decorated with yellow-gold trim falls about to his knee. The coat's interior fabric is red. The coat is purely for outfit and appearance and not for utility at all, given that it is cut so high at his chest that it reveals his belly. Underneath this, he wears a simple black shirt, also cut as to reveal his stomach.

His black pants are rather nondescript as are the brown leather belts he wears with them. His boots are black and red, but given that he does not tuck his pants into them, one barely sees that they go up to his mid-calf. The only other clothing article he wears is a pair of brown leather gloves.

At his waist is fastened a short sword and its scabbard. Made by his father, it is silver and black, typical of the Fabrel weaponry, and it is well taken care of. It is roughly three feet long. The swords scabbard is a simple brown leather affair, not showing off its ornate inhabitant's origin.

Sleepy and dazed are two words that come to mind when people speak of Hypnos. He seems to never have a worry or a care and often spends more time dozing under a pleasant tree or looking up to the clouds than he ever does battling Pokémon. This is not to say he can't battle, but more so that he prefers to take the more calm path. He takes his time doing things, too, generally forgetting what he was doing in the first place.

When he is battling, however, the discipline attained from his family's code and training shines through. He's a decent hand at fighting (he's not the best by any means, mind) and he can hold his own well enough. When it comes to defending his contracted employer, he will also treat the job with a militant level of alertness.

Sharing the emotion-tied eyes of his family, Hypnos's eyes have only been known by his family to change for two things. When someone attempts to harm his twin, Thanatos, whom he is incredibly reliant upon and attached to. The only other happenstance is when someone wakes him from a nightmare.

Hypnos is not without his mishaps and downfalls. He suffers from very mild narcolepsy and is prone to falling asleep when there is nothing that is holding attention or when he is, more or less, bored. He also is prone to nightmares that leave him screaming and writhing in terror. It is also worth mentioning that Hypnos can be incredibly gullible and trusting to a fault.

Something of the spitting image of Thanatos, Hodenn acts similar to his hot headed and straightforward son. Having carried the Fabrel name with pride, his did his best to impart the mercenary ways upon his two children and train them to his standard.

If Hodenn is like Thanatos, then Marishcel is like Hypnos. Somewhat of an airhead like her younger son, Marishcel married into the Fabrel family. She is a decent fighter in her own right and she did her best to tech her sons everything she knows.

Born and raised in Lacunosa Town as a proper Fabrel would be, Locke, or Hypnos as he would later be called, is the younger twin between he and his brother by fourty-five minutes. Actually fraternal twins rather than identical, the attributes of the Fabrel family often has them mistaken as the latter rather than the former.

When he was four, the family took a trip to visit a friend of the family in Mistralton City. North of there, in the Celestial Tower (where he and his brother had ventured to explore), he met the Litwick that would become his first Pokémon. Surprisingly, his brother also befriended a Pokémon here, too. (Though not his first.)

Raised by a loving, if strict, family, Hypnos lead a rather normal life comparatively. Trained in combat, both physical and Pokémon, Hypnos was raised along side his brother and never wanted for much outside of the regular capacity of a boy his age. Nothing much ill happened to him either, other than taking a frightening tumble down a sea cliff when he was eight and breaking his arm.

Through various trips and trials, Hypnos amassed the team he has today. Among them he was gifted his pet Sableye, which is father gave one to both of his sons as a kind of ironic jest at their chosen types of specialty. And he was also gifted Aija,  the Pokémon he was given to signify his completion of his training.

Upon completing his training under the Fabrel codes and methods, Hypnos took his first job. Assisted by his father and his brother, the job, by all means, should have been relatively easy. It was a simple protection assignment. Unfortunately, sometimes things go astray.

They were assigned to protect a young boy, heir to a corporate family in Castelia City. As it were, the people they were protecting the boy from accidentally mistook Hypnos as their target. Because of that, Hypnos was kidnapped rather than their employer.

Though the events ended with a happy ending, Hypnos took a long time to recover from the event. Thanatos and their father tracked down and saved Hypnos, putting his kidnappers to rest or behind bars, in varying degrees, but damage had already been done. Once his captors had realized they had the wrong boy, they hadn't cared much for what happened to a thirteen year old mercenary.

Hypnos has somewhat recovered from the happenstance. He continues to have nightmares about the ordeal, but thankfully that is one of the few negative traits remaining. He is still overly dependent on his brother for support (he adamantly refuses to be without him for longer than a day or two), but he has gotten to the point that he is more or less back to his normal self.

Currently, Hypnos and his brother are under the employ of Atropos, Leader of Team Fated. It is here that he took the name "Hypnos" in the first place. Or, rather, Thanatos chose the name for him. They both work as underlings to Hades, one of the Fated Executives.

Swordsmanship (Broadsword): Hypnos has trained since youth with the broadsword he carries. He uses a fighting style only taught to the Fabrel clan, which stresses the importance of a strong center and guard. It teaches enough of quick draw techniques, like mortal draws, as well. On top of that, it hones swiftness with the blade, something it picked up from Japanese cultures.

Eyes of Fabrel: Emotion-tied eyes of the Fabrel clan, the orbs of turquoise change color to a dark blue-black when the bearer is emotionally stressed. This can manifest in various ways, but the most typical of them is when the Fabrel is angry. Hypnos himself has been known to have his eyes change for two reasons: One, when someone tries to hurt Thanatos, and two, when he is woken from nightmares involving his past.
