Aktwan [Male Zorua]: Formerly a poached and smuggled prisoner of Rocket-dan. Beatrix had her first run-in with the gang when she stole the Poké Ball containing this mischievous little Dark-type from an accident involving their transport. Zorua, named Aktwan, typically serves Beatrix by creating small, localized illusions or illusive copies of herself.

Ability: Illusion
Move Pool: Faint Attack, Fake Tears, Pursuit, Substitute, Thief, Protect, Taunt, Double Team, Embargo

Aktoo [Ditto]: A Ditto acquired from Beatrix's illict activities within her workplace. Using money, dirty secrets, and connections she has coerced several persons in low-tier positions to alter resource records so that she can steal a few things now and then without being caught or suspected. This Ditto, Aktoo, was one such acquisition - trained to remember solidly a handful of forms and disguises that Beatrix will adopt. Most times Beatrix wears Aktoo as an article of clothing, to either quick-change her appearance or outfit when she doesn't have time to create, don, or remove a mask of some sort.

Ability: Imposter
Move Pool: Transform

Many people has Beatrix been, she's worn many faces, many hairstyles, had many eye colors, skin shades, heights, and weights. These are all things she can change with but a few moments' preparation, entering a room through one door and exiting the other as a wholly new person born just that moment.

But beyond that, there lies Beatrix herself. She stands at 5'4", she weighs 150lbs. Her hair is bleach-white, which in the end makes it easier to quick-dye. Her skin is smooth, and of a fair complexion. While not nearly voluptuous, someone would have to be near-sighted to mistake her for a male - unless she wanted them to. Her eyes are richly brown, which she almost always covers up with contacts of some lustrous shade - usually violet.

Wheels. Why did it have to be wheels? wrote:Beatrix is a woman of many faces and many names, likewise does she lovingly craft a personality to go with each - as if her every identity was a completely separate person altogether. Given the way she lives her life, this is actually more true than casual speculation would originally suggest. Her love for illusion grew past simple sleight-of-hand, looking for greater deceptions, those that fool all the senses and memory itself rather than just the eye or ear. So does each personality become no different than a magic act, smoke and mirrors so tightly joined that even if one knew they were being fooled, they would only find another mirror in the end.

The story is quite different when the stagelights dim and the masks fall away, however. Beatrix hides who and what she is, unable to face the world as the same person every day, afraid to fall behind the world, to be forgotten by it. The world forgot Beatrix, so she takes on different mantles to always be remembered in some fashion. Heroes come and go, but people always put a name to the author of misfortune. Even if it is a sad tale of frustration and loss or fond memories of entertainment and wonder, at least they will remember the mark she left on them in perpetuity.

"Behind every puff of smoke,

behind every burst of sparks,

behind every show of hand,

lays a person, an artist, just wanting people's approval, people's affection, people's attention.

Someone who just wants people to know who they are, to be loved, so they leave behind a part of themselves with this world...

Someone who just wants someone to remember they exist..." - FasterThanRainbows

Come witness feats never before witnessed by mortal eyes! wrote:Beatrix grew up in a warm home with parents who loved her dearly, but were often busy working several jobs each in order to make ends meet. Sharica was a beautification consultant for Pokémon Contest participants, and her father was a firefighter. Despite being very well-loved, Beatrix was often not the sole focus of her parents' attention - working hard to provide for her meant sacrificing time with her, which Beatrix did not particularly understand at that age.

Having that wonderful feeling of love and adoration only so rarely made Beatrix overly-fond of it, desperate to capture that feeling of warmth and bind it to her, so she never had to feel so alone. As a child, she tried to gather this feeling from others, generally at school - but not even the most forward and charming of friends made her feel so adored. It would be harrowing, stressful years later when she realized that she would have to earn it - and the best way to do that was to impress those people around her. But, as easy as it sounds, she quickly came to understand that impressing people is hard - sometimes impossible. Everyone has their limits.

But Beatrix was ready to dismiss those limits. As she grew older, and more distant from her hardworking and loving parents in an effort to comprehend and capture just what she wanted from her mother and father, she put in for several clubs and activities. Drama Club, Debate Team, acting classes, music classes... she began gathering skills to aid her in her quest, and while she was so busy working to wow her friends and family, she did not realize what was happening in her lapse of attention. In a talent show Beatrix took the stage by storm, her act a resounding success... but the familiar faces in the crowd looked upon her as a stranger. So long had she sequestered herself in her schoolwork and training, had she neglected her relationships to the point that most people she knew only vaguely remembered her any longer. The world... her world, had forgotten her.

Having come to fiery grips with this antithesis, the very opposite of everything she'd worked so hard for over the years, Beatrix gave some one-off stage name rather than remind the people of who they had known her as. She feared, that they had forgotten her for a reason - and that if they were reminded of those reasons why, then all their praise and adoration would fade along with it. Beatrix Lucille Lamoon all but ceased to exist that day, disappearing along with the memory of her existence. Not long after, word of a traveling magician popped up in nearby towns, putting on little shows for the children while trying to work out deals for larger venues for the adults. At times she would have to steal to make her way, and when she did she would adopt a disguise, and make use of her knowledge of sleight-of-hand. Eventually, the idea struck her that with her greater deception skills, she could take even more supplies and money and began to learn the arts of infiltration and extortion, no detail too small when looking for ways in and out or dirt for blackmail.

As time passed, Beatrix learned how to plant seeds in businesses and communities, helping create alibis and to secure services and power for herself wherever she went. It was during such a trip to attend to one of these seeds that she came across a bungled operation by a few newbie recruits of Rocket-dan, and in the resulting confusion decided to make off with one of the pokeballs that had spilled from their heist's transport. How fitting was it that Fate smiled on the up-and-coming mistress of subterfuge to bring into her service a clever little Zorua with its natural ability to create small illusions. Seeing the benefits of a seed in such organizations, Beatrix began researching the exploits and what membership she could of Rocket-dan and several other prominent gangs... after all, if they were still around these days, they must have deep roots - which meant greater resources that Beatrix could one day lay claim to. With a bit of initiative, Trixie Trouble joined the Rocket-dan at entry-level Grunt-work... and Circe found her way into Fated-dan by showcasing those same skills she hid from the Rockets. Digging her fingers into the cracks of Rocket-dan, she began to make accomplices, people willing to cook the books for her, so to speak. In such a manner did she acquire her Ditto, whom she quickly trained to work in tandem with her Zorua to aid in her deceptions.

To this day, Beatrix continues her work in the lower tiers of Rocket-dan, attempting to gather further freedoms too far below the eye of the brass to question her if she does manage to slip-up. Meanwhile, in Fated she plies her talents in attempting to rise higher into the organization. In the end, all she wants is to gather more power for herself for some grand scheme to imprint herself upon the world, so that at least some part of her or some work will not be forgotten.
