Jupiter [Male Electabuzz]I'm going to make you bend and break.
Perhaps the Pokémon that remains closest to Zeus to this day, Jupiter is the strongest and most seasoned creature on Zeus's team. Sharing his namesake with his Trainer, Jupiter can be just as smug and self-assured as the man who orders his tactics in battles. He is not, however, one to underestimate competition. The Pokémon, like all of Zeus's team, is well trained in general martial arts. Jupiter also knows the Ice-type form of Hidden Power due to being around Poseidon's team.
—Hatched in Saffron City.

Ability: Static
Nature: Serious
Move Pool: Cross Chop, Fire Punch, Focus Blast, Hidden Power (Ice), Low Kick, Protect, Psychic, Substitute, Thunderbolt, Thunder Punch

Image
Koryke [Male Hitmonchan]One night stand.
One of Zeus's strongest fighters, Koryke is Koryko's brother and rival for Zeus's attentions and favor. He tries his hardest to out match his younger brother in every way and can be the more hot-headed of the twin duo. Typically sent to spar with Koryko for training purposes, he is adept at blocking and fighting against Pokémon just as well trained as himself. Koryke, like Zeus, doesn't condone failure, and when he loses, he typically gets enraged and goes on a training binge.
—Hatched in Saffron City.

Ability: Iron Fist
Nature: Rash
Move Pool: Counter, Double Team, Fire Punch, Focus Punch, Helping Hand, Ice Punch, Mach Punch, Quick Guard, Substitute, Thunder Punch

Image
Koryko [Male Hitmonlee] - One night stand off.
The younger of the Hitmon duo, Koryko is the more levelheaded of the pair and is probably, when all is said and done, the better fighter. He isn't one to get mad in the midst of battle at some small thing like his older brother, and for that he can keep his wits about himself. He is, however, just as likely to go on a training binge, though. Generally, though, this is to keep himself in tune. Zeus typically pairs Koryko and Koryke in double battles.
—Hatched in Saffron City.

Ability: Reckless
Nature: Hardy
Move Pool: Close Combat, Counter, Double-Edge, Double Kick, Double Team, Helping Hand, Hi Jump Kick, Mach Punch, Reversal, Stone Edge

Image
Amalathea [Female Ampharos]It's always cloudy except for when you look into the past.
Calm and elegant, Amala is the Pokémon Zeus turns to when he needs a touch of regality in his battles. Amala is more than capable of making up for her poor speed with the ability to hit hard and often. Outside of battle, Amala is a sleep, laid back type of Pokémon, prone to naps and sunbathing when she's not training with Zeus. Like Jupiter, Amala also knows how to use the Ice-type form of Hidden Power thanks to time spent around Poseidon's Pokémon.
—Captured on Route 42.

Ability: Static
Nature: Gentle
Move Pool: Discharge, Focus Blast, Focus Punch, Hidden Power (Ice), Rain Dance, Reflect, Signal Beam, Substitute, Thunder, Thunderbolt

Image
Dodge [Female Infernape]I only think in the form of crunching numbers.
Given to him during his travels in Sinnoh, Dodge has another nickname that Zeus is fond of using; "Swiftfingers." Typically, Dodge is fast on her feet (and her hands) and likes to be the one to run circles around her competition. In one particularly nasty bout, she broke the fingers of another contender only a moment into the fight to gain the advantage. Dodge is, in a word, vicious.
—Received in Sandgem Town from Professor Rowan.

Ability: Blaze
Nature: Bold
Move Pool: Close Combat, ExtremeSpeed, Fire Punch, Flare Blitz, Grass Knot, Mach Punch, Overheat, Stone Edge, Swords Dance

Image
Macedon [Male Braviary]Get me out of my mind.
A more recent addition to Zeus's team, Macedon is ornery and disobedient, not yet used to Zeus's training regimes and schemes. The bird is powerful, though, having taken down Amalathea with only a few surprise attacks when Zeus ran into the creature. Being a brown color instead of the natural red, Zeus enjoys that he has a unique type of the creature in his party. But, he puts up with none of Macedon's shit and is trying to pin the bird's stubborn attitude down with an iron fist.
—Captured on Route 11.

Ability: Hustle
Nature: Adamant
Move Pool: Brave Bird, Crush Claw, Double Team, Protect, Return, Rock Slide, Sky Drop, Steel Wing, Superpower, Toxic

This. This is the way they love... wrote:

Jolt [Female Emolga]Dance, dance, we're falling apart to half time.
Zeus captured Jolt awhile back, almost two years prior to his joining of Team Fated. Jolt is a nuisance and a pest to pretty much anyone that Zeus doesn't respect. She's prone to gliding over to people's hair and tangling it up. Most often seen on Zeus's shoulder, Jolt doesn't battle and doesn't usually stay in her Poké Ball. Zeus treats her as someone might treat a pet Meowth or Chatot, as a loyal pet and companion.
—Captured in Lostlorn Forest.

Ability: Motor Drive
Nature: Impish
Move Pool: Charge, Quick Attack, Spark, Tail Whip, Thundershock

I believe this may call for a proper introduction. wrote:
Image
Titus [Male Machamp]So testosterone boys...
Muscle-bound and hot-headed, Titus is one of Zeus's strongest Pokémon, as is stereotypical of a Machamp. On the other hand, though, he has little finesse when it comes to finer things in battle. That being said, he is pretty much only good for hitting hard and strong before someone catches him on a silly mistake or a strong hit.
—Captured in Rock Tunnel.

Ability: No Guard
Nature: Rash
Move Pool: Bullet Punch, Close Combat, Dynamic Punch, Foresight, Fire Punch, Focus Energy, Ice Punch, Stone Edge, Substitute, Thunder Punch

Image
Chorus [Male Tauros]Will you dance to this beat?
Trained mostly by Zeus's mother's methods, Chorus is quick on foot and swift on heel. Able to perform foot maneuvers that would put most others of his breed to shame, Chorus is what Zeus likes to call a "dance master." He has combined dance with battle and because of that his movement is fluid and smooth. Chorus has also abandoned the bull-headedness of his species in favor of reason.
—Captured in the Kanto Safari Zone.

Ability: Intimidate
Nature: Relaxed
Move Pool: Double-Edge, Earthquake, Fire Blast, Ice Beam, Rain Dance, Rock Climb, Stone Edge, Zen Headbutt, Water Pulse, Work Up

Image
Harlequin [Female Jolteon]And harlequin girls...
An Eevee born sister to Poseidon's two, Harlequin warmed up to Zeus rather than his friend. She evolved at her own discretion, choosing Jolteon rather than the aquatic types of her two siblings. Fast on her feet and a force to be reckoned with, Zeus has taken to calling Harley bipolar. Sometimes she can be as disordered as Maelstrom, other times, she can be as calm as Sleet.
—Captured on Route 7.

Ability: Quick Feet
Nature: Quirky
Move Pool: Agility, Baton Pass, Charge Beam, Hidden Power (Ice), Shadow Ball, Substitute, Thunder Fang, Thunder Wave, Thunderbolt, Volt Switch

Image
Delphi [Female Lanturn]I'm looking forward to the future.
Another sister to one of Poseidon's Pokémon, Delphin, Delphi is probably one of Zeus's more unique Pokémon choices given her type and body shape. Unable to fight on a field like any of his others, he saves Delphi mostly for water fights so she can be in her element. When she does battle, she is prone to stealth tactics rather than straightforward fighting.
—Captured in Vermillion City.

Ability: Volt Absorb
Nature: Lonely
Move Pool: Charge Beam, Heal Bell, Ice Beam, Rest, Scald, Sleep Talk, Substitute, Surf, Thunder Wave, Thunderbolt,

Image
Imagine [Female Altaria]Oh, well imagine... as I'm pacing the pews in a church corridor.
Zeus found Imagine on a trip he took to Hoenn once for his family's purposes. Having captured the small, friendly Swablu, he took the time to train the little Pokémon into the gorgeous Altaria she is today. While she is not the best of fighters, Zeus likes to think she has the imagination to get herself through any situation presented to her.
—Captured on Route 114.

Ability: Natural Cure
Nature: Bashful
Move Pool: Dragon Claw, Dragon Dance, Earthquake, Flamethrower, Heal Bell, Outrage, Perish Song, Roost, Safeguard, Toxic

Image
Balance [Male Shiny Luxray]With a sense of poise and rationality...
Regal and calm, but proud to a fault, Balance likes to pride himself as the best fighter in Zeus's team. It also doesn't help that he has a unique coloration to match his uppity attitude. Something of a show off, Zeus has taken to not using the Luxray in favor of training other Pokémon.
—Captured on Route 202.

Ability: Intimidate
Nature: Sassy
Move Pool: Crunch, Discharge, Hidden Power (Grass), Ice Fang, Protect, Roar, Superpower, Thunder Wave, Thunderbolt, Toxic

Image
Jason [Male Gallade]So I guess we're back to us.
Noble and calm, Jason is one of Zeus's few Pokémon that he didn't legitimately raise or catch. Rather, he is one of his fathers old Pokémon that was given to Zeus to teach him new fighting methods. The Pokémon is very adept at fighting and chaining his Psychic moves with his kicks and punches. Arguably one of Zeus's strongest Pokémon, the Trainer doesn't use him as much given he belonged to his father.
—Received in Saffron City from Charienal Illiadin.

Ability: Justified
Nature: Serious
Move Pool: Bulk Up, Close Combat, Drain Punch, Ice Punch, Night Slash, Shadow Sneak, Substitute, Swords Dance, Taunt, Zen Headbutt

Image
Ever-panic [Male Galvantula]Your heart is racing.
One of Zeus's more recent captures, Panic isn't as good at battling as the man would like. Still, Panic is devoted to proving himself to his Trainer and does his best to battle to the end. Panic is prone to scaring others, also, taking a sort of amusement in giving other people a good fright. Zeus attributes the Galvantula's poorness in battle with his inability to avoid pulling a fright trick.
—Captured in Chargestone Cave.

Ability: Swarm
Nature: Naughty
Move Pool: Agility, Bug Buzz, Electroweb, Energy Ball, Hidden Power (Ice), Screech, Signal Beam, Slash, Thunderbolt, Toxic

Image
Reflex [Female Mienshao]Now I recall, we were just getting to part where the shock sets in.
A violent little tempest, Reflex is everything Zeus could want in a fast fighter. Faster even than Harlequin, Reflex throws punches with the best of them and makes use of a special tactic of whip punches. Reflex is still a little under trained, though, in that she sometimes fails to follow all of Zeus's orders.
—Captured on Route 14.

Ability: Reckless
Nature: Impish
Move Pool: Aerial Ace, Baton Pass, Fake Out, Grass Knot, Hi Jump Kick, Hidden Power (Ice), Poison Jab, Stone Edge, Swords Dance, U-Turn

Image
Myrmidon [Male Shiny Bisharp]You know it will always just be me.
A Pokémon outside of Zeus's type domain, he wasn't expecting much when he captured Myrmidon has a Pawniard. He was pleasantly surprised when Myrmidon proves himself ten fold to his Trainer by taking down a high powered Hydreigon and evolving to boot. A strange blue color in comparison to the normal red of his species, Myrmidon is modest of both his rare appearance and his innate ability to kick ass.
—Captured on Route 11.

Ability: Inner Focus
Nature: Modest
Move Pool: Brick Break, Guillotine, Iron Defense, Iron Head, Night Slash, Stone Edge, Swords Dance, Substitute, Sucker Punch, Thunder Wave

I'm a one liner away from getting you into the mood. wrote:Zeus stands at an average height of five feet and six inches and sports a crop of black hair that falls in a shaggy mess. He keeps it moderately combed and goes for the pretty boy look with its style. His eyes are a strange amber color and they have flecks of bronze color in them. His jawline is strong, but still retains its boyish cheeks, and his hair frames his face. In all, Zeus looks much younger than he actually is and he is rather proud at how well he aged.

Adorned with slate black coat, Zeus wears very high class clothing. The coat is a trench coat style, but it is cut in a flared and feathered fashion. It is decorated with light blue and electric blue stripes and designs and also bears as gold cross chain over the chest. Under this Zeus wheres a white tunic with light blue trim followed by a final light blue undershirt. Under all this, Zeus wears black slacks and a pair of white, blue and yellow boots. These boots were plated for defense and extra strength when throwing kicks.

Zeus is also always seen wearing his gauntlets while he is up and active. Being left handed, his main gauntlet is on that hand. It is a black metal device and is lobstered/layered metal upon metal. On the red, front tier of metal are two white spikes that generate electrical currents when Zeus closes his fist a certain way around the trigger device.

His secondary gauntlet is built larger than the other and is more of a shielding and blocking device than an attacking implement. Underneath these, Zeus wears a pair of leather gloves with rubber interiors. These run up to his elbows to protect himself from the currents he uses to fight.

I've got more wit; a better kiss; a hotter touch; a better fuck than any boy you'll ever meet. wrote:To someone who has never met him, Zeus comes off as a smug, self-centered individual. He is full of himself and he is one of the largest, self-assured bastards in Team Fated itself, if not already the biggest. Zeus is the kind of person who will use you, abuse you and then throw you away when he's done without any regret. While he can be a gentleman, he is rarely that man for an extended amount of time. Generally, he will act suave to lead someone on and then once he's done teasing you he'll drop you.

Zeus is one of the biggest flirts on the face of the planet, in addition to being a smug bastard. He's entirely impartial in his flirtation and will flirt with both males and females without a care. He typically will flirt more when he can see its irritating someone. Generally, he'll stave off the flirting after awhile, unless he considers you worth bothering for an extended amount of time. Very few people are in this category for Zeus.

Outside of all of that, Zeus is loyal to those he considers his friends and allies (this can overlap with flirtation targets). If he believes someone is his ally, he will protect them when they are in need and he will support them should the need arise. He will obey orders from people he respects without being a jerk, because they have earned niceness from him. He appreciates people that are stronger than him only, though, and only people that have proven that earn his respect.

Zeus does not usually take failure lightly, especially when it's his own. When he fails, he is wise enough to realize that the failure is partly or fully his own err and it is his responsibility to correct his downfall. He doesn't usually take failure from people underneath him lightly... and he has been known to dish out harsh punishment for failing to succeed.

Name: Charienal Illiadin — I aim to be your eyes.
Age: 58
Gender: Male
Relationship: Father
Trainer Orientation: Chaotic Neutral
Trainer Class: Black Belt

Having never given Zeus so much as a kind word since his birth, Charienal is a master of many forms of martial arts and is the leader of the training facility in the Illiadin Estate. Zeus was considered a master the day he sent his father flying across the dojo floor into the wall.
Name: Kallen Illiadin — Let's get these teen hearts beating faster, faster.
Age: 55
Gender: Female
Relationship: Mother
Trainer Orientation: Chaotic Neutral
Trainer Class: Crush Girl

Not nearly as caring or loving as a typical mother, Kallen pushes her son to be the strongest and best he can be. She will not accept failure as an option under any circumstance. She is a master of dance-incorporated martial arts, working with making fighting more fluid.

I'm the narrator and this is just the prologue. wrote:Having grown up on the better half of the tracks, Zeus, or as he was known for the majority of his life by his family, Zenion, never wanted for anything in his childhood... but, on the converse side, there was much expected of him. The Illiadin Estate is a group of families that came together roughly a century ago in a union of trust. They are something of a clan, and they share many things, information and wealth among them. That being said, the children of the Illiadin Estate are expected to seek jobs and futures that would benefit the estate itself.

Zeus is the only child of a rather key family in the Illiadin Estate itself. The family that the estate takes its name from, for a fact. As such, he was expected to go further than any other child born into the Illiadin family. That being said, Zeus began his training at a very young age.

From since he was four, Zeus has trained in various forms of martial arts and schools, holding high ranks in many of them and holding mastery in one or two. He trained mostly in unarmed combat, though he is handy with a knife and prefers battle with gauntlets.

As is typical for the setting, he also trained Pokémon. In his youth, he was tasked with the daunting chore of caring for three Pokémon eggs when he was six. After a few months of love and nurture, the eggs hatched into a twin set of Tyrogue and one Elekid. These three Pokémon would become his lifelong companions and join him in his martial training regime. Zeus would train his three Pokémon and his own body for many years to come.

When he was fifteen, Zeus took a voyage to various locales at his parents behest. He managed then to collect a few more Pokémon to add to his name, focusing on his chosen types of Electric and Fighting. After a few more years, he would continue to flesh out his team, visiting various regions and cities for his family's business and needs.

Growing up in Saffron, it goes without saying that Zeus also trained in the Fighting Dojo found within the city. He also managed to make a training voyage south to Vermilion to fight at Lt. Surge's Gym once or twice. One such voyage allowed for a chance meeting with a much younger boy named Trenton, who would eventually be known to him as Poseidon. A specialist in Water- and Ice-type Pokémon, Zeus assumed that he would have an easy win against the boy. He was surprised, however, when the younger trainer treated him to a horrible defeat. Incredibly disgusted from the loss, Zeus left his family's estate to train.

Retreating deep into the northern mountains of Kanto. Spending a year in solitude, Zeus set himself and his Pokémon through the most strenuous training program he'd ever set them through. When he was nineteen, he sought out the young boy he had been beaten by before and completely demolished the younger trainer. Surprisingly, he befriended the young trainer shortly afterwards and spend a good amount of time training and traveling the regions with the younger Trenton. They became friendly rivals and eventually best friends.

When Trenton was sixteen and Zeus twenty-two, they were approached by a young man who went by Atropos. Asked to join the mysterious group, Team Fated, Zenion and Trenton both agreed, adopting their namesakes Zeus and Poseidon respectively. They have been with the team to this day and are among some of its founding members.

These words are all I have so I'll write them... so you need them just to get by. wrote:The morning was one of those crisp, biting morns... the kind that started snapping at your heels the moment you stepped outside; it was the kind of morning that said, "today is either going to be a bitch or nothing at all." Flocks of Pidove swooped and soared over head, dipping down to sit on the railings of balconies and to seek out a stray bird feeder here or there. Below, the low-lifes of Narrow Street milled back and forth.

Zeus sighed, leaning forward on the railing. He could just hear the chime of the ancient bells of a door-signal below. Likely, they were from the antique shop that served as the front for Team Fated's hideout. The store truthfully was filled with legitimate relics... but given the location in Castelia City, very few ever ventured down Narrow Street to seek out the treasures within.

Above the shop was the residential apartments and condos that housed Fated's members. To all it honestly just looked like a residential building. But below the store, accessible only from hidden elevator that required a card key, were the other facilities of the Fated Base: training quarters, databases and archives and almost anything else the members might want for. Zeus smirked, turning around and leaning back to enjoy the chill of the morning wind. Half of the facilities below has been financed by his own estate. The other... well... who knew where Atropos got the funds.

Rolling his shoulders, Zeus ventured back into his room. The interior was something out of a high end magazine, not that he particularly wanted for anything in the room. The chilly air had cooled the sheen of sweat on his body from his morning workout. Striding from his bedroom to the second room that he had worked into a wooden-floored training room. Grasping a towel and wiping the liquid from his brow, he looked over to the two Pokémon sparing in the corner.

"Koryke, strike closer to the body. You're hitting too wide."

The Hitmonchan let out a snort and continued to spar with the Hitmonlee serving as its opponent. Zeus monitored for a moment to ensure that the hot-headed Hitmonchan would follow through with his demand. Pleased when the creature did, he turned back to head to his shower.

He slipped into the room and turned on the water as scalding as he could stand. Stripping out of his white robes and pants, tossed them aside and stepped under the shower head. Letting the water run over his body in rivulets. Half an hour later, he exited his room all together. Hair still slightly damp, but dressed to the nines, Zeus exuded the smug demeanor he was known for. On his shoulder rode the Emolga known as a nuisance to the base.

Time to search out some fun, because, honestly, unless Atropos had some plan for today, there was little else to do at the moment. He began down the hallway, headed for the room meant for general congregation. A rec-room of sorts. Maybe Hades would be back today. Zeus smirked to himself; it would be fun indeed to pester the red kid again.
