Mochi [Female Wigglytuff] — That's clearly no ordinary toy!
Oichi's first and oldest companion, she has had Mochi since she was very young. While once exceedingly rambunctious, Mochi is now much more calm and mature, similar to her owner. The creature is fond of spending long days in the sun and relaxing in the shade. For personal enjoyment, she has taken up the art of chabana. She is fond of shadowing Oichi... and sometimes Nagamasa.

Daifuku [Female Togekiss] — Yes! I win, right?
Oichi's more physical Pokémon, Daifuku is the creature she uses mostly when she needs a strong attacker. A sickeningly sweet pink color uncommon in its species, Daifuku had trouble getting along with her own group of wild Togetic and Togepi. When Oichi captured her, she was rather rambunctious. She is also Oichi's mode of flight.

Nuomizi [Female Blissey] — This battle is all because of your meddling, isn't it?!
Captured shortly after she married Nagamasa, Nuomizi is probably the cream of the crop of Oichi's team. A heck of a Pokémon, Nuomizi traveled a long way. The egg itself was transported as precious cargo all the way from the Three Kingdoms. Oichi captured the young critter shortly after it hatched from the Chinese marked egg, and so Nuomizi treats Oichi as a mother.

Renown for her beauty, Oichi is a young women in her young twenties. Standing roughly five feet, three inches tall, Oichi bears a crop of chestnut brown hair that falls to her middle back. She typically ties this up in a ponytail like fashion and adorns her hair with various kanzashi. Her eyes are a rich brown in color. Oichi's sports a soft jawline and pierced ears. She is incredibly fond of jewelry.

Clothing-wise, she favors a light fabric kimono with pink and blue coloration. This falls much shorter than the traditional length of kimono, bearing her legs. Under her kimono she wears a western-style skirt that is usually blue in coloring. Over it, she wears varying shawls and obis.

When she was much younger, Oichi was a perky and optimistic teenager who cared deeply for the ones close to her. As Oichi matured, she became a calm and graceful individual. Often, she struggles with her knowledge of her brother's unique nature, as she knows that both her loved ones will inevitably fight one another. She accepts her happiness with Nagamasa as fleeting and secretly wishes for a time when her family can fight together for a common goal. She believes strongly in destiny as well as her husband's beliefs. Her ties with her sister-in-law are strained as the latter cannot stand her.

Oichi openly hates conflict but feels that she has the obligation to participate in battles in order to end them. She is dearly faithful towards her love and family, not wanting to cause grief to either. Oichi retains the fierce will to defy fate like in her younger days...

Born in the middle of the 16th century to a time of much conflict in the Pokémon world, Oichi-no-kata, more commonly known simply as Oichi, was the younger sister of one of the greatest known historical figures in all of history: Oda Nobunaga. She was known primarily for her beauty and her unbreakable resolve.

Following his victory at Mino, Nobunaga arranged for his younger sister to marry Azai Nagamasa in an effort to cement an alliance with the rival daimyo. Though originally solely a political marriage, Nagamasa and Oichi would fall deeply in love. In truth, this would become something of a tradegy for the couple. Itm ight have been better had they not come to care so much for one another.

In the third summer after their marriage, Nagamasa betrayed his alliance with Nobunaga, going to war with him on behalf of the Askaura family (a clan he had a long standing alliance with). Still deeply caring for both her husband and her brother, Oichi remained dutifully at Nagamasa's side... but secretly sent a warning to her brother as well so that he might avoid a double attak from bot the Azai and Asakura clans.

The fighting would continue for another three years, with Oichi remaining torn between her undying love for Nagamasa and her devotion to family. Oichi would remain with Nagamasa at Odani Castle through the conflict, even as Hideyoshi began to attack the holding. With Odani surrounded, Nobunaga requested that Oichi be returned to him and promised that she would remain unharmed. Nagamasa, for fear of Oichi's well being, agreed and sent her and their three daughters away. It was the last Oichi would ever see of her beloved husband.

For the next ten years, Oichi and her daughters would remain in Nobunaga's care. After her brother's assassination, Oichi would be sent into another arrange marriage with one of Nobunaga's former generals, Katsuie. A year later, as Hideyoshi laid siege to to Kitanosho Castle, Katsuie tried to send Oichi away. Oichi refused, by then worn from losing all she held dear. While she bore no undying love for Katsuie, she refused to be sent away once more, neither in marriage nor for rescue. In truth, she had slowly lost her renown resolve over the past years...

Reports were that the couple died in the flames of the castle as it burned. In truth, it could be said that she only wanted to be reunited in death with her true love.

Chained Chakrams: While not nearly as far ranged as her kendama, Oichi's ability with her chakrams is well known. She is capable of clearing large amounts of enemies from around her with ease. The draw back is that Oichi has no elemental focus, so her attacks hit as if any other weaponry item might. She is also not capable of hitting psychically strong.

Kendama: While she does not use her kendama anymore, she is still proficient enough in the weapon to mention it. She has very good reach with it and very good aim. Like her chakrams, though, it is not something she can use ti hit very hard with.

Applaud: Oichi raises her hands and a white orb of energy appears between them. She applauds, clapping the orb out of existence as if a bubble. The enemy this attack is directed at is forced to use their last attack once again.

Lullaby: Oichi sings a beautiful lullaby, causing anyone who hears it to fall asleep. Colorful notes of music appear around her, which float out and burst into a soft mist of faint light. The sound of wind chimes can be heard.

Healing Song: Oichi sings a short, wordless aria that channels her given powers, a faint white aura glows around her, particles like globes of light swirl around her in a ring and any wounds on her person, her Pokémon and her allies are healed. Oichi can only use this ability once per day.

Healing Light: The same as Healing Song. Oichi closes her eyes and waves of white energy come off her body. The waves make a bell-like sound, and heal everything around her, recovering the health of all of the Pokémon in Oichi's team, her allies and healing any status effects. She can only use this once per day.

Stand Ground: An attack that would have been fatal, Oichi endures. She stands her ground, a soft shell of white enveloping her and centering her spirit. This move's chance of succeeding falls with each consecutive use.

The Voice of All Things: Like several others of the ancient masters of their time who were chosen, Oichi has the ability to understand Pokémon speech as if it were normal speech, due to her closeness to her element and the ability to understand hearts. It is unknown if the current age's masters have this ability.

Her own entry back into the realm of modern day had been a bit tumultuous. Many had flocked to greet her upon the knowledge of those from the past age returning becoming public. Handling the sudden shock upon her rebirth as well as the number of people who had greeted her upon behalf of this or that with as much poise as she could manage, the simple truth was that it was quite overwhelming. Finally, after what had seemed like long days of nothing, which in truth had been large amounts of paper work and clarification that she was, indeed, who she said she was, she was "released" to the world.

Oichi frowned, peering around her at the forests of the area around Lake Biwa. Everything was so different nowadays. She could certainly see where many things had come from, their roots in their past, of course. But much of the accomplishments of the age were strange to her. She dug her toes into the grass.

Once, this had been part of Omi. She peered across the lake. Nowadays it was called Shiga, some ways north of an area they liked to all call Kanto now. They had taken a trip here once, her and Nagamasa, not long after their marriage had been cemented. Oichi sighed, closing her eyes and remembering.

The feel of a hand on her shoulder. That endearing, if sometimes naive smile of his. The way the sun warmed the grass as they lay on it.

The girl opened her eyes again. The sun did not warm her now, as bright a summer light as it was. No, there was only one thing that would warm her heart now, and, Arceus damn it all, she would find the man. She refused to believe, refused to accept that she had brought back into this world without the one thing that would make a second life worth living. Arceus, in all his power, could not be so cruel as to deny her that... could he?
