Kozaru [Male Infernape] — We'll show them what we've got!
Kozaru was Hideyoshi's very first Pokémon. Before Hideyoshi joined the Oda forces, he'd originally enlisted with the Imagawa. This service did not last long before Hideyoshi changed banners, and on his way out he stole a number of riches from his temporary superior Matsushita Yukitsuna. Among these treasures, all far too great for his farmer's peasant hands, was an egg. It did not take long for Hideyoshi to fixate on this egg, and the time spent hatching it drew forth a great appreciation for life in Hideyoshi, who previously had become jaded by constant war and consistently barely escaping great scenes of senseless murder. He raised the newborn Chimchar in the position akin to a big brother - both something of a father figure and friend. Through its life and Hideyoshi's rise to power, Kozaru has always fought at his side, proudly leading other allied Pokémon forces beneath the Toyotomi banner. Though very serious-faced, the flaming Infernape loves simply relaxing at times before giving in to spontaneous and opportunistic pranking. He shares his master's great vivacity and outlook on the preservation of life when possible. Despite this, Kozaru is an accomplished combatant himself, and even wields a glaive sized for him into battle.
-Stolen as an egg from the Imagawa

Gorotsuki [Male Pangoro] — You comin' with me Gorotsuki? Let's go!
Gorotsuki was introduced to Hideyoshi as a reward for his promotion to Oda Nobunaga's right-hand vassal for his cunning deeds of diplomacy, deception, and nobility despite the most common of births and upbringing. At first, the Pancham and Hideyoshi got along very coolly, the more severe and laid-back Pokémon refusing to get caught up in the japery of Hideyoshi and Kozaru, refusing to join pranking outings and do little else but relax or fight. It would not be until a year later that the two discovered a shared interest in music due to passing komuso making use of their shakuhachi. This extended to listening to skilled shamisen players in castles they were based at during the Oda's campaign. As they discovered this bond, the two grew closer, and though Gorotsuki never achieved the kind of closeness that Hideyoshi and Kozaru shared most times, he became a resolute companion as a Pangoro who would always be at his friend's side. Oddly enough it was the only Pokémon partner of Hideyoshi to get along with the Conqueror. In battle, Gorotsuki uses spiked gauntlets to conserve its energy and still allow it to use its claws.
-Received as a Pancham from the Oda

Hideyoshi stands at a modest 5'4", bearing straight black hair and a thin black moustache. His features lean more towards the puckish, making him look younger than he is. While he would not fit the appearance of the stereotypical 'handsome warlord' ideal, his youthful appearance and well-kept looks made him very popular with very frequent dalliances throughout his life. Of lean build, his appearance is quite agile, and he seems to favor a great deal of silks and gold in all his clothing. He is iconic for his helmet sporting the rays of the rising sun.

Hideyoshi in his Conqueror Form is an entirely different beast. For one, he stands at fifteen feet tall. His body is not unlike the great trees, formed entirely out of muscle and dense bone. His hair is greyed, his moustache vanished, and he wears a great deal of black and red lamellar woven into tough and slick fabrics. His face bears the countenance of great severity with harsh, dismissive eyes - sometimes set in an endlessly possessive glare. Each step looks fit to shake the earth, his movements clearly slow but bespoke with unrelenting determination and matchless power.

Hey! Victory is ours! / Weakness is a sin! The weak can grasp nothing! wrote:Hiyoshimaru, the man thought to be Toyotomi Hideyoshi, comes off as something of a simple playboy when seen at rest, with a penchant for wenching when able, or going out for a night on the town with his friends. He is quick to laugh, loves to make jokes, and balances his act between funny and annoying - just enough to be endearing. Hiyoshimaru can be fairly kind and energetic when at times of rest, and always cares a great deal about those who serve him. Notably, he is very much a treasure-hunter, and will do much to add to his collection and general wealth. He is often seen as the champion of the Everyman, with a beautiful dream of uniting the whole world, looking beyond the shores of Ransei. Hiyoshimaru's charisma is literally legendary, often winning victories simply by convincing enemy generals to join him. As he seems simple to understand and genuinely concerned for those under him, yet willing to share his impossibly large dream, he famously drew strong loyalty from his followers before his death.

However, the weight of that worldwide ambition created something less lighthearted within him that grew each time he denied it as part of himself. This growing mental schism is the true recipient of the name Toyotomi Hideyoshi. Unlike the gold-flaunting monkey-like man Hiyoshimaru, Hideyoshi is cold, logical, and utterly ruthless. He cares only for his own ends and what it takes to achieve them, and is not afraid to make sacrifices so long as his desires are met and victory achieved. He is supremely confident, and well-earned, for his power won the two of them the title 'The Fist of Ransei'. To face Hideyoshi is to stand before a giant with no doubts and a mind as sharp as a razor's edge. He is very keen on making the most of that intimidating presence to both frighten and inspire. Despite the obvious juxtaposition, Hideyoshi is still just part of Hiyoshimaru despite the protests of both personalities, and merely operates differently rather than opposed.

You're not half bad. With you the future could be bright! wrote:Hideyoshi was born Hiyoshimaru February 2nd, 1536 to poor farming peasants of the Owari Province during the turbulent times of the Sengoku Period, when the land was still known as Ransei. As a child he grew distraught with digging in the dirt and mud just to barely survive while trying to keep from being caught up in the endless war and destruction of villages just like his, and so turned to thievery. During his first attempt, he was caught stealing food from a slightly less poor farmer, and was chased by the farmer wielding sickles, only to be saved by a wandering old ronin. Thankful, it was all young Hiyoshimaru could do to watch as the peasants amassed and publicly executed the old warrior for meddling in their affairs. Enraged by the lack of justice, Hiyoshimaru left the village and made for the Imagawa to serve under a minor lord.

Unusually bright and eager for a peasant in the era of ceaseless bloodshed, Hiyoshimaru became trusted quickly in the Imagawa, where he caught a glimpse of the passing of Oda Nobunaga, who had also risen from his home province. Thinking quickly, Hiyoshimaru robbed the Imagawa of many riches, including a Pokémon egg destined for some samurai, and immediately abandoned the force to move onward and join with the Oda. He introduced himself to Nobunaga personally, taking the name Kinoshita Yaemon. His time spent as a common soldier was once again quickly commuted as his energetic and infectious personality caught him favorable attention. With eyes on himself as he wished, Yaemon maneuvered his way to the head of the relatively lesser Oda army and imposed on his new lord to promote him to one of his sandal-bearers. Amused by Yaemon's brazen attitude and eager wit, Nobunaga accepted the young man's request and lifted him to the honored position. As such, Yaemon attended Nobunaga in battle, finally getting his taste of war - ironically against the Imagawa that he had deserted just prior. With the defeat of the Imagawa securing Nobunaga's bid as one of those seeking to dominate Ransei, Yaemon changed his name once again to Kinoshita Tokichiro, and began to dream.

A few short, bloody years later, Nobunaga had seen enough of Tokichiro's usefulness and potential that the peasant felt wasted even in such an honored role as sandal-bearer, not traditionally something a peasant could even aspire to already. By 26, Tokichiro had been made a samurai and full-fledged general for his legendary 'Overnight Fortress' and the use of his beguiling diplomacy to seduce away many retainers and samurai from the Saito clan defending Inabayama Castle - leading to Nobunaga's nearly effortless victory and the swell of competent samurai in his own ranks, including the Saito clan's own strategist. Now, naming himself Hachiba Hideyoshi, with Monferno and Pancham as his trusted allies, he solidified his own burning ambition, fueled by Nobunaga's desire to see a united Ransei within his lifetime. Hideyoshi wanted peace, so that no more peasants would be put to the sword as their life's work burned before their eyes. He amassed great wealth and accolades, assisting in the defense of Nobunaga who had been ambushed by the Azai - cockblocking the Cockblocker of Bizen - and the defeat of the Asakura and Azai clans leading to the seppuku of Azai Nagamasa and Hideyoshi gaining territory as a daimyo for the first time. During these years of victory and conquest, Hideyoshi gained loyal followers under his own name, setting the stage for his own vision of Ransei as an advisor to his lord, as they differed in the concept of what was necessary violence.

Unfortunately for Hideyoshi, away conquering more lands for the Oda, he learned that his lord Nobunaga was slain by his comrade and fellow vassal Akechi Mitsuhide. All at once, conflicting emotions wrought a horrific change in Hideyoshi, who had been previously blessed with heavenly powers... his desires, his ambition, his greed, his sorrow, his rage, his feeling of betrayal all collapsed in on him and left only a grim-faced giant where before had been a happy-go-lucky daimyo who was loved by his men. Abandoning his conquests, filled with revenge, the giant who would become known as Toyotomi Hideyoshi strode across Ransei with his army at his heels to exact vengeance and justice against the lord-slayer and traitor, Mitsuhide. In a week's time, faster than any had thought possible - arriving even before the Akechi forces, Hideyoshi subdued the area he had marked as his former comrade's grave, and then in a one-sided battle crushed the Akechi forces and slew Mitsuhide with his unparalleled might. As he calmed, holding the battered form of his broken foes, the giant was replaced with the gold-loving and jovial commander his soldiers and retainers knew and loved, who appeared only troubled. From then on, as he reorganized his forces, took over the Oda and forged them anew under his banner, Hideyoshi set his eyes on his ambition... nothing as small as a united Ransei, but rather a united world. All nations in the hand of one who was worthy, who would make the world strong, for the Buddhist in him believed there was something lurking behind their every shadow, guiding the horrible deeds they performed and fell to. In several short years the incredibly mighty Hideyoshi and his Toyotomi forces outmaneuvered and outfought every Warlord remaining in Ransei, coercing or forcing surrender and supplication, or slaying those who would not yield to a future of peace and unity. With the forces and lands of Shibata Katsuie, and Tokugawa Ieyasu added to his own, the Great General known as the dancing monkey and the thundering giant took hold of all Ransei and was raised to the rank of Kampaku by the Shogun, earning him the title of 'Peasant Emperor'. Now in full control of Ransei, Hideyoshi then turned his eyes to the rest of the world... but old age, mysterious illness, poor logistics, and the ocean slew his ambition before he could see it come to fruition, mostly the ocean. As he died, the Tokugawa took his united Ransei and moved forward with their own ideals.

In life, Hideyoshi was known as a great supporter of the arts, and a fine lover of women and wealth. For these reasons, he grew immensely popular with the nobility, and much of the Eastern world knew his name and approached him with gifts in diplomacy, fearing the tramping footsteps of his massive legion, and the bark of his Tanegashima as much as his staff and fist. Ransei wept for the Taiko and his dreams of peace... before quickly moving to seize the fruits of his victory. But as he lay dying, unknowingly from the treachery of the Darkness itself, Arceus called his Plate-bound soul to his realm of rest, to wait until the world once again needed the all-consuming skill and power of the Great Uniter.

The real enemy is in your opposite direction; far away in the distance... wrote:Kozaru stood over a series of maps with parchment at its side, the Infernape's blazing hair lighting the tent more than adequately. Inside sat the golden-armored Hideyoshi, flanked by his advisors Hanbei and Kanbei, excellent strategists to compliment his own great skill as a general. Hideyoshi had a knack for recruiting people who fit him well, and Kozaru seemed to agree. The four of them pored over maps and reports on numbers as they prepared to launch their forces into battle in a short few days' time, preparing their strategy that would decide the fate of the thousands of men camped just outside. Hideyoshi oversaw grand strategy for each campaign, while Hanbei handled logistics and counter-strategy, and Kanbei directed topographical and formation-oriented strategy for the samurai and ashigaru forces. Kozaru, Hideyoshi's Partner, dealt with the marshaling of their Pokémon forces, to clash with those of the enemy and to ward away the predations of wild Pokémon. It was not an unusual or particularly auspicious night for the four in the tent, or Gorotsuki sitting outside of it learning how to play his shamisen - with no head for tactics.

That changed quickly, when a runner breathlessly burst into the tent, surprising Gorotsuki who'd been just outside guarding it. The Pangoro opened the flap after the messenger and leaned in to make sure everything was well inside. Kanbei caught the runner and bade him slow and catch his breath as Hideyoshi himself ladled water for the swift elder to drink. Drink he did, for he had dire news to deliver this night, a night which had been like all others, and then just as simply... was not.

"Intercepted message! At Honnō-ji ... Lord Nobunaga... ambushed, betrayed! Slain by Akechi Mitsuhide!!" He managed to choke out before slumping in posture, too weary from his run through the camp.

Hideyoshi blinked, looking down at the man several years elder than him, still objectively in the range of his prime - yet so aged by the terrible message he bore. It was taking some time for Hideyoshi to parse this information it seemed... it was not as if he did not believe the messenger, the man had all the credentials and had served as a go-between for Nobunaga and Hideyoshi in the field before, just that it was not yet catching up to him the meaning of what was said.

"Nobunaga-sama, dead? Our lord? By Mitsuhide-dono's...?" He spoke, questioningly. Hanbei and Kanbei shared a glance, holding a silent conversation as to what they needed to do right now with this horrible news. There had been plans between the three of them, plans to slay Oda Nobunaga themselves in case the dark lord had lost his way towards peace, but to hear that Nobunaga was betrayed like this meant that others were in position to take his power and ruin the dream that had birthed Hideyoshi's own. A dream all loyal to Hideyoshi held themselves to, died for. What would this mean for their daimyo? An answer was forthcoming.

Hideyoshi, with trembling hands, placed his kabuto upon his head, framed by a halo of the rays of the rising sun, and focused his gaze senselessly on Kozaru, who looked on with a worried expression and questioning words as to his friend's state, seemingly ignored.

"We... we need to be cautious on-on how we proceed from here..." He spoke haltingly, broken, distant words without his energy or tactical mind behind every syllable as was usual. The worry on the faces of his partners and retainers grew as he doubled over, shaking. They had never seen the man cry, even when he was saddened by distance between him and his loves. Surely now was the appropriate time, a great blow had been dealt to all who swore themselves to the banner of the Oda under the brilliant and powerful Nobunaga.

In a fury, the tent flew up and off into the sky before the sheer pressure made itself known, flattening the war table between Hideyoshi and his strategists. The relatively short, monkey-like man looked up and his eyes were hard... and hungry. He turned to the horizon and began to walk.

"Abandon the campaign! We must move... we must go, we cannot stay here any longer. We must get back before Mitsuhide can escape and hide for the rest of his wretched life." As he spoke, his voice grew more edged, deeper, daunting. The campfires bowed away with the confused soldiers of this man as he grew more resolute with each step forward, as his tread grew heavier into the soil of Ransei from which he'd come years ago.

"Break camp... we march back to home! Tell Mori to stay off of our trail unless he wishes to be next, and he will know peace. For Mitsuhide... there can only be death! Rise, my soldiers! We march!"

As he walked, he shimmered as if consumed by a great flameless heat, a mirage under the moonlight. He changed, shifting as he focused his hardening eyes on the horizon, to the mixed reactions of his followers. Some bowed in prayer to the power of the Buddha Arceus at work, others repulsed by the unknown, more still confused as their jovial lord was replaced with some enormous, towering beast of a man. They could see his identity in his face, their general Hideyoshi still, but something had changed. Keeping up with his much, much greater stride, Kozaru and Gorotsuki hurried alongside the giant as he stomped through to the edges of the camp, his powerful gait unceasing as he marched to his gaze upon the horizon.

"Mitsuhide will die, and he will surrender what is mine. It is my time now... my time for revenge, and my time to rise. Mitsuhide dies and my world awaits!" Resplendent in armor and clothes black as the night, the thousands-strong army hurried about under the direction of Hanbei and Kanbei, organizing a fast break of camp to follow their general before he strode out of sight. Some legends state he walked the entire way to Yamazaki with an imperious scowl, keeping ahead of the ashigaru and even the mounted samurai under his command... certainly there still exist enormous footprints in the stones of Japan to this day from the edge of old Mori lands in the direction of Yamazaki.

Martial Abilities______________________________________
└-Weapon specializations and fighting styles.

Bladecasting: Skill at Bladecasting, an ability unique to those with Plates. The formation of a four-foot straight blade using the raw energy or physical manifestation of one's Element. The blade itself is unique to every user - based on a conviction key to their being without which the blade will not function, and composed of a basis of a single Pokémon move like any other Elemental Ability. The blade cannot be physically wielded and is instead controlled mentally. All blades share the ability to 'shatter' into shards and reform back into a blade, these shards each carry the same effects or ability as the main blade and can be individually controlled. The number of shards a blade can shatter into and still be controlled is based wholly on the user's level of Bladecasting skill. Advancement requires an enormous amount of time invested for even the most prodigious, or an experienced mentor. The individual's blade (named for the requisite conviction) is listed as a Unique Ability on their sheet and cannot be copied. (Novice: 4 shards) (Journeyman: 8 shards) (Expert: 12 shards) (Master: 16 shards) (Grandmaster: 32 shards, expanded basis)

Techniques─┘
  • Toushou Rekki (闘沖烈鬼, lit: "Fighting and Charging Fierce Demon"): Hideyoshi grabs the nearest enemy in one hand charged with Ki, drags them along the ground, and then throws them forward like a cannonball which cannot be recovered from until they hit something, or come to a stop.
  • Tenchi Sousou (天地葬送, lit "Burial of Heaven and Earth") : Hideyoshi grapples the nearest enemy, and with Ki flowing freely through his legs, leaps skyward. At the apex of the leap, he rights himself and delivers a spinning piledriver, slamming the target through the ground causing an eruption that throws back enemy units nearby.
  • Sanshou Renge (三掌蓮華, lit "Three Lotus Palms") : Hideyoshi unleashes a Ki-backed punch that strikes its main target and further enemies very close by. throwing a group of enemies upward. Hideyoshi then rockets upwards with a Ki-empowered jump, catching up with the aerial group and kicks the same enemies downward to the unforgiving ground with concussive force, and finishes with a punch that sends them flying away from him as a number of ranged attacks on further enemies.
  • Haja Shouten (破邪沖天, lit "Crushing Evil Charging to the Heavens") : Hideyoshi performs a chain of rapid-firing punches as a Ki-empowered cone (sacrificing his usual power per punch for attack speed), finishing with a mighty downward punch sending enemies flying. The number of punches he can throw in this brief span of time is based on his skill in the style. (Journeyman: 6)
  • Kaijin Ranka (灰燼乱渦, lit "Chaotic Cyclone of Dust") : Hideyoshi grabs the nearest enemy and advances via spinning rapidly, violently sweeping aside all enemies in his path using the grabbed enemy as a bludgeon, and finishes by throwing the gripped enemy away explosively. The number of spins he can perform with his bludgeoning enemy is based on his skill in the style (Journeyman: 4). This technique can only function on enemies up to Hideyoshi's own size, in which case this requires both hands for secure grip and to prevent simply ripping the target's leg off.
  • Enbu Gouha (猿舞豪把, lit: "Dancing Ape's Mighty Grasp") : Hideyoshi grabs an enemy and begins to use it as a weapon to bludgeon other enemies. While he is attacking, the enemy cannot escape his grasp via skills or techniques. When the gripped enemy is dead or Hideyoshi changes his mode of attack, he can throw the used-up enemy at other enemies to cause a shockwave of damage.
  • Kongou Hametsu (金剛破滅, lit: "Vajra Destruction") : Ougi. This technique requires time spent charging. Hideyoshi raises his fist and takes his stance, supercharging his body with his Ki and subconsciously tapping his Aura for an increased defense. When Hideyoshi is ready, he slams the ground with one powerful strike, causing an expanding wave of destruction to ripple outwards from him, the energy leaping up from the cracked and warped ground to confer similar damage to all enemies in an area. (Journeyman: 50ft radius) Receiving a very powerful attack or stunning ability before he is finished charging will prevent Kongou Hametsu from being completed.
Spears: The use of spears of any kind.

├─Classification: Physical

└─Power Level: Expert

Swordsmanship (Katana): The use of traditional Japanese blades.

├─Classification: Physical

Elemental Abilities____________________________________
└-Powers from a Fighting Plate.

Conqueror Form: A startling manifestation of Hideyoshi's inner desire for absolute dominion. Based on [Bulk Up], [Strength], and [Transform], Hideyoshi undergoes a sudden and vast transformation from a relatively short and jovial man to a larger-than-life fifteen foot tall juggernaut with equivalent strength to match and unwaveringly grim countenance. Sacrifices his normal state's great evasive ability for further enhanced strength and defense. Worn items and clothing alter with the new body, held items do not. At this level the Conqueror Form can be held until the end of a specific combat situation.

├─Classification: Elemental
├─Category: Status
└─Power Level: Expert

Drain Counter: After activation, Hideyoshi can automatically respond to close-range attacks against his person with a combination of the moves [Counter] and [Drain Punch], as the Pokémon moves. Lasts 5 rounds. Requires Conqueror Form.

├─Classification: Elemental
├─Category: Physical
└─Power Level: Master

Fighting Adept: The holder of a Fighting Plate experiences a different realization of powers and skills upon receiving their Plate, and do not necessarily gain elemental abilities in the same fashion as other elemental Plate users. Instead, all fighting styles and attacks that they possess take on the Fighting element. The Fighting Plate also redoubles the user's physical parameters and Ki usage, acting as an intensifier. It is for this reason that most of those chosen by Fighting Plates were martial artists to begin with.

├─Classification: Elemental
├─Category: Physical
└─Power Level: Master

Fighting-type Pokémon Combat Affinity: Passive ability based on [Bulk Up] and [Metronome]. Allows the user to perform any unbarred Fighting-type Pokémon moves the user is familiar with, to the same effect that a Pokémon would.

├─Classification: Elemental
├─Category: Status
└─Power Level: Inherent

Katanagari: Composed of [Vacuum Wave], [Covet], and [Imprison]. Hideyoshi reaches out his arm towards a weapon-wielding opponent, causing them to drop their wielded weapon(s) and become unable to retrieve them so long as they willfully continue to face Hideyoshi in combat. This ability can affect more than one target depending on relative individual 'importance' on the field. Groups of footsoldiers, for instance, can find themselves disarmed and unable to lift them until they flee or Hideyoshi moves on. A powerful leader unit, on the other hand, can be capable of retrieving their weapon from the ground on the next post, as they are worthy of wielding weaponry before Hideyoshi. Requires Conqueror Form.

├─Classification: Elemental
├─Category: Special
└─Power Level: Master

Ken-Oh: Based on [Superpower], [Belly Drum], and [Stored Power]. Ultimate meta-ability, requiring activation of both Conqueror Form and the Fighting Plate mastery ability, Perfect Balance and all the restrictions that apply. Unleashing a Ken-Oh attack takes a highly considerable amount of Ki, natural Aura, and Fighting-type elemental energy. This unstable conglomeration of energy is forced into a fusion, compacted several times and fully absorbed by the body of Conqueror Form Hideyoshi as supernaturally increased strength and power, the only manner in which Hideyoshi is capable of withstanding this much turbulent force. When Hideyoshi next connects with an attack, all of this energy is released through his attack multiplied by the physical force behind it, resulting in absolute devastation comparable to the wrath of nature itself.
At Novice level, this ends both Conqueror Form and Perfect Balance, making both abilities assume their respective cooldowns after one such attack.

├─Classification: Elemental
├─Category: Physical
└─Power Level: Novice

Kettō: Based on [Brick Break] [Spotlight] and [Magic Room]. This ability allows the user to make a Challenge to one opponent relatively nearby and incite them into a duel. Should they attack the user or perform any hostile action the duel immediately begins. Should they refuse to answer or are incapable of doing so, the duel begins at the beginning of the user's following post. To refuse the duel, the opponent may turn and flee, after which they may not attack the user for three turns. Once the duel has begun, both combatants are compelled to attack only one another in physical close combat to the exclusion of all other targets. The combatants are incapable of using any items on their person. The duel lasts until one or both duelists are no longer capable of continuing the battle.

├─Classification: Elemental
├─Category: Special
└─Power Level: Inherent

Quick Strike: Passive ability. Combines [Vacuum Wave], [Quick Attack], and [Synchronoise]. Allows Hideyoshi to attack at range no differently than if he'd struck the opponent up close in melee. The shockwave force of his attacks 'fly' so quickly that it is no different than if the nearer targets had been standing within his physical reach. When a ranged attack lands, it resonates, using the target as a base. Other enemies of Hideyoshi's very close by the target emit half the damage of the attack in a relatively short radius around them. Extends to Hideyoshi's Pokémon.

├─Classification: Elemental
├─Category: Status
└─Power Level: Inherent

Taikō Tekko: Passive ability. While in Conqueror Form, so long as he is at least consciously attempting to block with his arms, Hideyoshi is effectively immune to physical projectile damage, and can reduce damage from supernatural projectiles. Based on [Mat Block]

├─Classification: Elemental
├─Category: Status
└─Power Level: Inherent

Wabisuke: Passive ability. Combines [Bulk Up] [Gravity] and [Power Up Punch]. Every time the user connects with an attack, the struck opponent becomes half again as heavy as its original weight. Struck objects become five times as heavy. This effect lasts for two rounds, including the round the opponent is struck in. Additional strikes refresh the duration until the opponent is slain, concedes, or waits out the duration out of reach. Objects remain such weight until the end of a thread. Only active in Conqueror Form.

├─Classification: Elemental
├─Category: Status
└─Power Level: Master

Warrior Soul: Passive ability. Mimics the Pokémon Ability [Scrappy]. The user is capable of striking enemies which are incorporeal or momentarily intangible, as well as affecting Ghost-types with Fighting-type energy. Once activated, this ability is shared by the user's Fighting-type Pokémon for one post with a three post cooldown.

├─Classification: Elemental

Unique Abilities_______________________________________
└-Powers unique to the character.

Fighting-type Plate Affinity: Hideyoshi is so attuned with his Fighting Plate's nature that he is capable of molding raw Fighting element energy much like some master martial artists are capable of wielding Ki.

├─Classification: Elemental
├─Category: Status
└─Power Level: Inherent

Grasp (Elemental Blade): Grasp is a four-foot long blade composed of pure force and 'fighting spirit', visible in the air as a slightly rusty-brown shimmer in its shape. The blade is based on Hideyoshi's desire to see the world held in a worthy hand, and to toss aside his enemies. Grasp is not known as exceedingly powerful among Elemental Blades even considering its user, despite this is still very dangerous. It is based on [Sky Uppercut], and strikes made with Grasp and its shards have a very strong knockback effect.

├─Classification: Elemental
├─Category: Physical
└─Power Level: Inherent

The Voice of All Things: Like several others of the ancient masters of their time who were chosen, Hideyoshi has the ability to understand Pokémon speech as if it were normal speech, due to his closeness to his element and the ability to understand hearts. It is unknown if the current age's masters have this ability.

Chōetsu Sansetsukon "Chosan": A mighty and resplendent three-section staff. The weapon is slender and ornate, with each of its three sections made of the thick and powerful branches of a staggeringly ancient Ficus Religiosa. The wood never warps or cracks even where metal shatters, rusts, or melts - where lesser wood rots or burns. It is trimmed with gold at each of its sections, with both ends of the staff capped in heavy golden orbs. This weapon was crafted for Hideyoshi from nigh-mystical elements as a gift and supplication, attempts to quell the Great Conqueror's march on nations within Japan's effective reach. Wood from the tree that the man who would become Buddha achieved nirvana under, steel from the corpse of a Registeel, gold mined from Kunlun Mountain. As such the weapon bears several anomalous properties. *(While in Conqueror Form, the Chōetsu Sansetsukon becomes gauntlets.)
-The Chosan is perhaps the world's best conductor of supernatural energy. Not only allowing the user to effortlessly keep the weapon charged with Ki, elemental power, or Aura but also to decide the manner in which they will be put to use, and doubling the intensity of the energy supplied. This effect is due to the wood of the Bodhi Tree.
-The wielder of this weapon does not bleed from wounds, and heals three times as fast as their normal rate when at rest, purging toxins and disease from their body almost immediately. The gold caps at each end may also be reshaped at the user's will. This is due to the gold of Kunlun Mountain.
-The Chosan's chain possesses some of the Pokémon's legendary resilience and the odd property of being able to produce more chain length or reduce it by the user's will. The chain can be called to Hideyoshi by mental command, so that the weapon cannot be captured and restrained by another. This is due to the metal arm of a dead Registeel.
