Estelle [Female Dewgong]All I need is my one star to wish for you everyday.
Estelle is Sadira's starter, whom she obtained on a trip to the Whirl Islands with her family when she was only eight. Estelle is playful, like any proper Dewgong and is also very prone to playing tricks while she's in the water. She's highly attuned to Sadira and can tell when the girl is bottling away her emotions. When she realizes that Sadira is doing so, she will often try her best to cheer the girl up or get her to open up and let her emotions out, rather than them building up.
—Befriended in the Whirl Islands.

Ability: Hydration
Nature: Relaxed
Move Pool: Aqua Jet, Avalanche, Ice Beam, Perish Song, Rain Dance, Rest, Signal Beam, Surf, Toxic, Waterfall

Image
Choubi [Male Chinchou]The secret of the sea, when it sways with green.
Sadira has had Choubi for quite a number of years. The small Chinchou found Sadira on the day she was stranded at sea and, together with Estelle (a Seel at the time), they kept the girl's hopes alight until a rescue team came. Choubi is more serious than Estelle, but still enjoys a casual swim with the Dewgong. Sadira sees Choubi as her savior in ways, as the Pokémon was there for her as Estelle was.
—Befriended on Route 124.

Ability: Volt Absorb
Nature: Mild
Move Pool: Agility, Confuse Ray, Discharge, Hydro Pump, Ice Beam, Rain Dance, Signal Beam, Surf, Thunder Wave, Thunderbolt

Image
Lune [Male Mightyena] - Don't forget that I will be by your side on any day!
Lune was a gift to Sadira from her foster brother, Jeremy. The young Poochyena took to the girl immediately and became yet another loyal companion. Being the only Pokémon she has that can easily dwell on land, Lune is prone to standing at the girl's side like a protective sentinel while she's inland. The Mighyena gets along great with Jeremy, spending a lot of time with the boy when Sadira's foster brother shows up.
—Received in Slateport City from Jeremy Kestrel.

Ability: Quick Feet
Nature: Brave
Move Pool: Crunch, Facade, Fire Fang, Howl, Rest, Rock Smash, Sucker Punch, Super Fang, Taunt, Toxic

Image
Boogie [Male Pelipper]He plays kind of some, like, blues, boogie-woogie.
One of the three Pokémon Sadira received as an Aqua Grunt, Boogie was anything but the preferred asset to a team. That is, to anyone but Sadira. Boogie is too much of a clown for the other Grunts, but Sadira took to him just fine. He's known to swallow Choubi or Splinter in jest when he's goofing off. He was one of those Pokémon that Team Aqua was going to throw away before she took charge of him.
—Received from Team Aqua.

Ability: Keen Eye
Nature: Jolly
Move Pool: Air Slash, Fly, Hydro Pump, Roost, Surf

Image
Splinter [Female Carvanha]Like a splinter festering in the wound.
The second Pokémon Sadira received for her service to Team Aqua, Splinter is, without a doubt, the polar opposite of Boogie. Splinter is a fighter and won't go down without making sure they enemy is torn to shreds... or at least will have bruises and scars to remember their encounter by. Splinter desperately wants to evolve into a Sharpedo and can't wait until the day that she manages it.
—Received from Team Aqua.

Ability: Rough Skin
Nature: Serious
Move Pool: Aqua Jet, Crunch, Ice Beam, Payback, Rain Dance, Screech, Substitute, Super Fang, Waterfall, Zen Headbutt

Image
Wonderlin [Female Wailmer]Is there more to life than wondering if there's more?
Being yet another disregard like Boogie, Wonderlin is the last Pokémon Sadira picked up from Team Aqua. Wonderlin is a bit of a scatter brain, and, while not as much of a clown as Boogie, she isn't nearly the fighter that Splinter is. She's known to doze off on a warm day, floating in the sea. Like Boogie, Wonderlin is one of those Pokémon that Team Aqua was going to get rid of... but Sadira loves the Wailmer too much to allow that. Sadira also uses Wonderlin as Surfing transport.
—Received from Team Aqua.

Ability: Oblivious
Nature: Naive
Move Pool: Hidden Power (Grass), Hydro Pump, Ice Beam, Surf, Water Spout

Life is the bubbles under the sea! wrote:For a girl her age, Sadira takes pride in her appearance. She's not afraid to show off her body. She stands about five feet, six inches tall and her hair is a wavy black mass, going to about her mid-back. She has dark blue eyes but, in the right light, they seem more aqua. On her head she wears the typical Team Aqua bandanna and uses it to tame her wild hair.

As mentioned, she's not afraid to flaunt. She wears a sports-bra style swim top, which is solid black, and nothing other than that on her torso. She's a bit more modest about her legs, but mostly keeps 'em covered because she wears the basic Team Aqua jeans, complete with the white rings down the outer seams. Around her wrists she wears blue arm bands. On her feet lie perhaps the only clue that her favorite color is actually pink, because she has pink flip-flops.

All my islands have sunk into the deep... wrote:Sadira has, more or less, a pleased outlook on life. Despite her past, she very good at remaining cheerful. It is, of course, mostly all a wall or a suit of armor that she had fashioned for herself to make her other emotions go away. She's prone to joking around and often invents nicknames for people, despite their annoyance.

When she is upset, though, one can usually see the vast alteration in her demeanor. She becomes very closed to the outside world and extremely quiet. She's known to lash out in anger unfairly when she is upset. Her being in a bad mood however, is quite rare, as Sadira is good at bottling and hiding her emotions.

Name: Farrah Peritt — Ship design is art, priy, and art consumes a artist. One day, when you're older, you'll understand.
Age: 46 (Deceased)
Gender: Male
Relationship: Father
Trainer Orientation: Neutral Good
Trainer Class: Ship Designer

Farrah used to work at Stern's Shipyard as one of the lead designers. He was quite good at his job, and his designs were well known throughout the profession as safe, reliable and innovative. Farrah absolutely loved his children, even though he often wasn't around, and he made every chance he could to spend time with them before he died.
Image
Name: Sharizade Peritt — You can swim all day in the Sea of Knowledge and still come out completely dry. Most people do.
Age: 43 (Deceased)
Gender: Female
Relationship: Mother
Trainer Orientation: Neutral Good
Trainer Class: Swimming Champ

Sadira's mother, Sharizade, was like her husband in that she absolutely adored her children. She was fond of doting on them and she did her absolute best to fill the gap that Farrah's absence created. She was half the reason that Sadira and Korih were fond of the ocean, being a former competitive swimmer.
Image
Name: Korih Peritt — Pitaa, Mamee, Sadii! Look at me!
Age: 9 (Deceased)
Gender: Male
Relationship: Younger Brother
Trainer Orientation: Neutral
Trainer Class: Tuber

Playful as any child his age would be, Korih was quite energetic and rambunctious. Him and Sadira actually got along very well, as siblings go, and she adored him. Korih almost always tagged along with Sadira when she went swimming and he was fond of his inflatable tube. He called Sadira "Sadii."
Image
Name: Ekon Kestrel — Thought is the wind, knowledge the sail, and mankind the vessel.
Age: 53
Gender: Male
Relationship: Adoptive Father
Trainer Orientation: Neutral Good
Trainer Class: Assistant Shipyard Manager

Best friends with Farrah before the man's death, Ekon is Sadira's current guardian. He, too, works at Stern's Shipyard, though he does not design vessels. He cares for Sadira a lot and treats her just like a daughter. He's a little worried as to where she is at the moment, though, and would never approve of Team Aqua.
Image
Name: Jeremy Kestrel — All our dreams can come true, if we have the courage to pursue them.
Age: 24
Gender: Male
Relationship: Adoptive Older Brother
Trainer Orientation: Chaotic Good
Trainer Class: Ace Trainer

Sadira's older brother by adoption, Jeremy is Ekon's son. Jeremy is a bit of a joker, and he has a wry sense of humor. He is, however, protective of Sadira like any older brother might be. He's currently trying to figure out where she disappeared off to and he has it in his mind to cart her back home.

May your joys be as deep as the ocean... your sorrows as light as its foam. wrote:Sadira was originally born in Slateport City to Farrah and Sharizade Peritt. She has had a love for the ocean and everything about it for all her life and for as long as she can humanly remember. Her first word was "wave", her first step was upon the sand of Slateport's beach. There is no doubt that Sadira is a lady of the waves.

Sadira's father, Farrah, worked as a designer for the Slateport Shipyard (Stern's) and often he would take Sadira with him to work. While she had no interest in being a designer herself, she found a sort of home in the Shipyard. She came to know the workers there, one in particular, whom was her father's good friend, Ekon. Ekon worked as an assistant manager to Captian Stern.

When Sadira was eight, (and her brother, Korih, was five) her father took their family on a trip to the Whirl Islands in Farrah's own ship. It was here that Sadira met Estelle, and, after begging her "Pitaa" and "Mamee," was allowed to take the Seel back home with her to Slateport. Korih, Sadira and Estelle would spend hours idling away in play with each other.

Sadira, however, would be dealt a dreadful hand of fate. It was rare that Farrah was able to take his family on trips, as his work often kept him busy. But when Sadira was twelve, he was able to take time off for another vacation. For one whole weekend, they would cruise the islands around the ocean of Hoenn and be completely undisturbed by Farrah's work.

Sadira and her family were out at sea when disaster struck, south of the coat of Sootopolis. The freak storm swept south from the Whirl Islands and, to this day, meteorologists have not been able to explain its occurrence and the lack of signs for its coming. On the Sunday before their return, Farrah's ship was breached by the storm-induced waves and sunk. He did his best to cling to his family, but the waves would tear them apart. Sadira is unsure if he was able to hold onto her mother and brother or not. She was separated from them in the torrential waves and never saw them again.

With Estelle, whom was still a Seel, Sadira floated upon a piece of the flotsam from her father's ship. Choubi bonded with the girl at this time. A week would pass before she was rescued by Hoenn's Rangers. The incident Sadira experienced was not the only one. Many ships were sunk in that storm. But Sadira did not care... because they never found her family. Ekon, also torn apart by losing his best friend, would adopt Sadira. Jeremy, her adoptive brother, presented her with Lune. Sadira would find some happiness and would begin her long process of healing.

It was some time before Sadira was able to live her life to it's fullest again. For a year almost, she refused to even enter the waves of the ocean. It was Jeremy who was able to coax her back into the water, where she re-found her love for the ocean. She did not, ultimately, blame the sea for taking her family, and learned once again to embrace its beauty.

When she was eighteen, she took it upon herself to travel the region, finally feeling brave enough to do so. It was then she discovered Team Aqua. She banded with them immediately, but for an odd reason. She loved the ocean, that was true, but she wanted more than anything to know what the storm that took her family had occurred. She felt, that maybe, in the slimmest chance, that she could discover this by awakening Kyorge. And so, today she resides in Lilycove with the rest of Team Aqua, waiting that chance.

Into the ocean... end it all... wrote:Sadira sighed and ran her hand through her unruly black locks. Training missions, eh? Well, that was peachy fun. Sorta. Sadira shrugged and fingered the capsule she had brought from the reserve. She was supposed to train them until they evolved, and, since she knew Water Pokémon decent enough, she had selected the more than pathetic Magikarp to train up.

Well, okay, really? She had picked it because the little sucker was adorable.

She grinned and stepped into the Training Facility, spinning the capsule on her fingertip. The walked over to the control panel and selected a field with water, simulating the areas around Lilycove. As the arena filled with a pond, she released the young Magikarp into the water.

"Karp! Karp!"

Magikarp flopped a bit and then slid under the water, eyeing her up through the surface dumbly. She grinned down at it and shook her head. It would be a fearsome Gyarados or her name wasn't Sadira Peritt!

"Let's start ya out on somethin' easy? Kay? Hit those targets over there, and don't ya miss a one! If ya can do it a couple times, I'll get ya in a battle with Wonderlin."

The Magikarp swam in a lazy circle and eyed her.

Sadira blinked down at it. It wasn't attacking anything?
