Kerberos [Male Houndoom]The gate keeper of hell's inferno itself.
Being the spawn of Archer's original Houndoom, Kerberos has a lot to live up to. He is as swift as his mother was before him and just as deadly. Archer has put an extensive amount of training into the canine. Kerberos has a dark love for battling, and takes a vicious bliss in coming out on top. He's not a sadist, but he does take a form of pride at winning, something he will archive with all his abilities. Kerberos is fond of staying at his master's side and often remains outside his Poké Ball.
—Hatched in the Team Rocket Hideout.

Ability: Flash Fire
Nature: Bold
Move Pool: Crunch, Dark Pulse, Flamethrower, Nasty Plot, Overheat, Pursuit, Smog, Sucker Punch, Thunder Fang, Toxic

Image
Weezing [Male]My heart pumps yet the poison draught of you.
Stern and serious, Weezing doesn't take battles as a joke. He's been with Archer a long time, being the oldest Pokémon in Archer's current roster. All in all, Weezing is more of a defensive Pokémon or a tanker than an outright hit-em-hard type. He's best at stalling for Archer in battle while the man comes up with a surer plan, and he's extremely prone to poisoning others for a slow but sure defeat.
—Captured in the Pokémon Mansion.

Ability: Levitate
Nature: Serious
Move Pool: Explosion, Flamethrower, Haze, Rest, Sleep Talk, Sludge Bomb, Thunderbolt, Taunt, Toxic, Will-O-Wisp

Image
Crobat [Male]The strength of the vampire is that people will not believe in him.
Vicious, with a slight mischievous side that Archer has tried to break him of, Crobat is one of those on Archer's team he likes to consider his "take them down before they even see what's coming" fighters. Crobat is exceedingly practiced at hitting hard and fast, before the competition can even see he's there. When he evolved, he evolved a bit darker than most of his species, causing him to have a slight advantage in night fights.
—Received from Team Rocket.

Ability: Inner Focus
Nature: Impish
Move Pool: Cross Poison, Confuse Ray, Heat Wave, Hidden Power (Fighting), Roost, Sludge Bomb, Super Fang, Taunt, U-Turn, Wing Attack

Image
Weavile [Female]Three vermilion snakes of female face.
Vicious and a bit vain, Weavile is Archer's preferred partner for Crobat. The Weavile is fast, as her species typically is, fond of being in the brawl and giving the least number of hits for the most amount of damage, something Archer sees as a tactical advantage. Weavile is a bit prone to getting into more than she can handle, however, and she has a mean streak that Archer is not particularly fond of. Sadism is wasted resource in his book.
—Received from Team Rocket.

Ability: Pressure
Nature: Hasty
Move Pool: Counter, Fake Out, Ice Punch, Low Kick, Night Slash, Metal Claw, Pursuit, Revenge, Swords Dance, Taunt

Image
Mismagius [Female]No ghost was ever seen by two pair of eyes.
While Mismagius is not a fighter, is just as dedicated and straight forward as Kerberos. When not being used as a fighter, however, Mismagius is much more adept at collecting information and doing recon work when it is required of her. As a ghost, Mismagius is able to go wherever she might please and make herself invisible to boot. Archer is fond of using her to ensure that there are no coups planned to unravel Rocket at its seams... or when there are other Teams afoot.
—Captured in Mt. Silver.

Ability: Levitate
Nature: Quiet
Move Pool: Calm Mind, Hidden Power (Fighting), Mean Look, Perish Song, Protect, Shadow Ball, Substitute, Taunt, Thunderbolt, Will-O-Wisp

Image
Skarmory [Male]Beak of bronze, wing of steel.
A more recent addition, Archer is still trying to train Skarmory into a more obedient mindset. The bird is certainly a good fighter, slightly bigger than most of his species and a bit on the fast side. Archer is quite certain the creature was an alpha in whatever flock he flew in. Skarmory is bitter about having been captured, but he recognizes that Archer is a good tactician, and so he grudgingly puts up with fighting for him. Archer knows that, in time, the bird will see the benefit of being in such a refined team.
—Received from Team Rocket.

Ability: Sturdy
Nature: Adamant
Move Pool: Aerial Ace, Autotomize, Night Slash, Rock Slide, Roost, Spikes, Stealth Rock, Steel Wing, Taunt, Whirlwind

Lamia [Female Houndoom]The mother of all monsters...
Lamia was Archer's first Pokémon, having been at his side since the boy was five. Lamia is prime fighter material, though nowadays she only fights when Archer needs her as a backup, as the creature has aged past her prime. Archer still allows her a well deserved place of honor within the base, and rarely ever confines the fighter to her capsule. When she does fight, Lamia is ruthlessly direct and thorough.
—Received at Tychon Estate.

Ability: Flash Fire
Nature: Calm
Move Pool: Crunch, Dark Pulse, Flamethrower, Iron Tail, Nasty Plot, Overheat, Smog, Shadow Ball, Sucker Punch, Toxic

Appearance gives us insight to character. wrote:Archer will always appear clean shaven and orderly. To him, anyone who doesn't take time to at least handle their appearance doesn't have the sensibility to be trusted with handling anything else. He stands tall and lean with moderately broad shoulders. His hair is a faint blue color and he styles it loosely, if short, parted in the back.

Attire-wise, Archer dons the clothing of an executive. A tight, black turtle neck layered with a white long sleeved shirt. The over shirt sports a vee neck that comes to mid-chest and black cuffs. On its chest is a black shield logo with the Rocket R atop it in red. He wears simple white slacks, always freshly pressed, with an indistinct black belt (capable of holding a team of six Poké Balls)and specially made white dress shoes with soles capable of the wear and tear of more extraneous activities.

When not handling professional occasions, Archer is still very well dressed, sporting a wardrobe of button-down shirts and dress slacks. He doesn't typically accessorize, but he also never goes anywhere without a silver watch with a sleek design.

I will not allow you to interfere with our meticulous plans! wrote:Cool and calculating, Archer is the brains behind the brawn of the Rocket operation. Archer is, without any inkling of a doubt, very much a businessman. He has the same nature in that he can find a way to turn any situation to his advantage at the drop of a hat. If there is a way to gain from it, Archer will find it and then pursue that gain with all the poise and ruthlessness in his person.

He is devoted to the Rocket cause without waver, and, at all costs, will see to its ends. Granted, he's not brash enough to make foolish or weak plans, so those means will be as thoroughly thought out as anything else. He can come off as many things when he's handling Rocket matters; calm, calculating, meticulous, curt, straightforward and to the point. And dwelling under all these is ambition... ambition and drive to see Rocket's dream realized.

Archer is also... refined... in a style. Having come from a well-off family, he values etiquette and codes of honor. He's very proper when the situation calls for it (this is not to say he can't be rude, he just has a particular vicious wit rather than a brash uncouth rudeness).

When not handling things pertaining Rocket, Archer is still very much a calm and straightforward individual, just not quite as much of a businessman. He's not one to go out and have frivolous fun, but he is not above such things either. He's much too worldly to not know better; after all, if one doesn't wind down sometimes, they'll get wound up at the wrong time... and all their careful planning will be for naught. No, Archer knows he needs to enjoy life as much as pursue his goals, so he does his level best to manage both.

The man enjoys many things in his off time. Math being something of a specialty for him, he is fond of most things within the math and science field, and while he doesn't pursue the field actively, he spends much of his spare time reading technical novels on such things. His other preferred reading subjects are history, sociology and psychology; how humans and the human mind works fascinates him.

For more trivial hobbies, Archer takes a guilty pleasure in the games of chess and sudoku. Chess he likes for its finesse and style, never in his opinion has a finer game been invented. Sudoku was a recent development, and is more of a way to force his mind to go blank so he can later calculate a better plan, something chess cannot do for him because he must also calculate for said game. He's also a bit of trivial in that he's fond of collecting wine.

History belongs in books where it is easily at hand for future reference. wrote:Much of Archer's history remains a mystery to the lower ranked individuals within Rocket and most of the higher ups also do not know much about the man's childhood. There are only a select few that do. Giovanni was one, Ariana is another, and there are a handful more, but the numbers thin from there.

Archer grew up known to his family as Apollo, a nickname he would later carry over into his profession. The last child to a prominent business firm, he wasn't expected to take over his father's place in any means. As it were, he might have done anything remotely successful, and that would have been enough. Instead, he made a silent vow that no such small thing as the fact he was conceived later than his brothers would stand between him and his goal; he was the best qualified to take his father's place, far excelling above his brothers. But, failing that coup from poor planning on his part, he left behind his family's estate with not so much as a second glance. Next time, he would plan more thoroughly.

And plot he did, but he had little goals or cause. He could get by well enough; the Houndour he received as a pet in his youth had never been such a thing. Instead he had evolved it into a sturdy Houndoom and honed his abilities in battle. With that, he could get by on the money from winnings alone, but he had no higher purpose.

That was, until he met Giovanni, at least.

Givoanni gave the then-youth a drive, a purpose all his own. Realize Team Rocket's dream no matter the cost. So enamored he was with Team Rocket's ideal, that the great should preside over the lesser qualified, that he joined with no doubt that Rocket was his calling. And how very correct he was.

Archer excelled, with his calculating mind, he found a perfect partner in the passionate heart of Ariana. The matched each others strengths easily, each making up for the other's downsides. Climbing the proverbial ladder easily, he was joined in the highest ranks with three others: Proton, Petrel and Domino.

Years would pass, however, and Rocket would find themselves thwarted in Kanto. Archer regrets not being there that day. Had he, he might have kept Giovanni from leaving, from trying to disband the group. It had been swift planning that has brought he, Ariana, Domino, Proton and Petrel together to keep the team a whole. For a few years, they scraped by; a failed attempt to control the Sevii Islands... other deeds just to keep it going... all to call back Giovanni, the beating heart of Rocket.

And still, in Johto, they failed even then. It was then, in that moment of weakness on Archer's part, Domino took control. She headed the operations from then on, and like Ariana, Archer grudgingly followed her. The girl did have some knack at coming up with fool-proof operations, but she wasn't driven enough in the execution. There was no passion to her planning like Archer had from Ariana's input.

It wasn't until Domino stepped down that Archer was able to take control, the most recent development of all... His goal? Unchanging. Rocket being realized, that was his goal, as Giovanni had put it forth, over a decade ago.

This time... no mistakes. wrote:The office had collected a faint sheen of dust, while Archer had been away. It was organized, yes, but it hadn't been maintained. The man strode forward, running his finger along the wooden desk to collect the gray. He rubbed the fine grit between his fingers and then dusted it away. He wasn't sure where Domino had gone, but enough was enough. She had left without as much a word. And this time... this time it would be Archer who would head Team Rocket.

The fall of foot steps behind him caused him to glance behind, but he could make a well educated guess as to the owner of that gait. Ariana, his partner in crime, so to speak. He gave her a faint nod in acknowledgement, to which she returned a faint smile. These two, they understood each other.

Archer turned to the desk and pulled the drawer on the right open, removing several file folders and laying them upon the desk top. Then he studied the black leader seat. Once upon a time, so long ago, Giovanni had sat there.

Domino had assumed his position with such an ease that he was half sure that girl hadn't understood what she was doing. She hadn't been a bad leader, but she hadn't been Giovanni... and at some time, Archer had become sure that Domino had begun to disdain Giovanni for leaving. Archer did not enjoy that Giovanni had left, but the man had been the image of Rocket. That enough deserved continued respect.

Sitting down on the seat, Archer looked to Ariana, tucking his hands under his chin. "This time... there will be no mistakes." And there was that steely flash in his eyes at the words, a determination and ambition unmatched.

Rocket was back.
