Magmar [Male]: As typical of a Magmar, the creature is a hot-heated piece of shit. Spending most of its time dwelling in the forests around Payon (and not setting them on fire, thanks), the creature wanders on its own and trains on its own. Patrick trusts Magmar to get the job done and holds it in the highest of regards.

Dodrio [Female]: The newest addition to Patrick set, Dodrio was acquired in the Kanto Safari Zone. A vicious little bitch, it's actually rather surprising to some that this Dodrio is not one of those classical "the heads fight each other"-types. Rather, they all agree on one key thing: they hate the rest of the world and plan on making the life of any Trainer that challenges Patrick a living hell.

Charmeleon [Male]: The crowning jewel of Patrick's team, it's surprising to most that the strongest Pokémon he owns will not yet be a Charizard. Granted, while the reason is unclear, one thing is crystal: Charmeleon will fuck you up. He is destined to destroy any opponent on the field before him and will use all moves and physical power in his person to his benefit.

The Gym Leader of Island Two, Patrick is a hot-head. He likes fire. Excessively so. When he's not accepting challenges for the Flame Badge, you can probably find him near a source of flame, or creating a source of flame.
Something of a juvenile delinquent, the law enforcement of Kanto have always been well acquainted with Patrick. His acts were mostly minor, which is what kept him out of jail. Upon initiation of the Seafoam project, Patrick anxiously awaited its completion, having been fond of the original islands since he was a child. During this time, he eagerly applied for citizenship to the new republic that would be formed on the islands.
When the applications for Gym Leader were concluded, Patrick had somehow managed to score a position on Island Two's Gym. Nobody's quite sure how that happened. And the logic of a near-arson on a forested island escapes any who think about it for any length of time.
With his wildly-styled blond hair and usual favoring of a red top of some kind, he somewhat resembles a fire if you're squinting and have misty eyes. Even though he doesn't smoke, he keeps a specially-engraved lighter on his person, just to make fire.
