Payon Island Guide

Most of Payon Island, also known as Island Two, has been left to wilderness, save the location on the eastern side of the island of the Gym for this island, and the small town that surrounds it. The rest of the island is covered by forests ranging from tropical jungles in the interior to deciduous pines along the rim.

Payon Island Guide

Post by PokéFiends Wiki » September 5th, 2018, 11:58 pm

Welcome to Payon Island, a natural paradise. Most of Island Two has been left to the wilderness, save the location on the eastern side of the island of the Gym for this island, and the small town that surrounds it. The rest of the island is covered by forests ranging from tropical jungles in the interior to deciduous pines along the rim.

Locations In Town

Image Payon Gym
Situated in the center of town, Payon Gym is the next stop on the circuit for League-minded visitors to Seafoam. In stark contrast to the serene and idyllic setting of Payon, Gym Leader Patrick is a hot-headed individual who is a bit too fond of fire to be entirely safe in a forested environment. Patrick favors Fire-types, and hands out the Flame Badge to trainers that can beat him.

Payon Town
Surrounded by the deep forests atop the mountain on the eastern ridge of Island Two, Payon is home to the Recreational Archers' Association of Seafoam. The villagers are friendly folk, and are not against technology in any fashion; they prefer living closer to nature. Payon features both a Pokémon Center and a Poke-Mart, the designs of which have been chosen to blend in with the native architecture of Payon. An ancient burial ground near the town, unearthed during Seafoam's terraformation and carefully preserved, is said to date back over five hundred years, and rumor holds that it is haunted.

Locations Around Town

Intercoastal Highway
One of the common methods to travel from island to island in the Republic of Seafoam is to use the Intercoastal Highway, a United States-style interstate system that connects all eight islands. It is not merely limited to those with automobile transportation; the entire length of the highway also has adjoining roads built for foot and bicycle traffic.

Payon Forest
A forest of thick, lush wildlife that surrounds Payon Town and covers the entire island.
