Welcome to the Battle Tree. The Battle Tree is a facility located on Poni Island in Alola. It can be accessed through Poni Gauntlet. It is the equivalent to the Battle Maison from Kalos, the Battle Subway from Unova, and the Battle Towers from Kanto, Johto, Hoenn, and Sinnoh. It is led by two very talented trainers. Despite how out-of-the-way it may seem, it serves as a valuable pitstop to trainers wishing to rest after traversing the tough and arduous terrain of Poni Island.

Poni Coast
Poni Coast is a location on Poni Island in Alola, located Northeast of Poni Plains, and southeast of Poni Gauntlet. The north-eastern coast of Poni Island, where the clarity of the water makes it a popular view spot. Though naturally protected, it is almost entirely devoid of Pokémon, save for those of the Diglett family.
Poni Gauntlet
Poni Gauntlet is a location on Poni Island in Alola, connecting to the Poni Coast in the east and the Battle Tree in the west. A difficult path that leads to the Battle Tree, it is full of tough trainers. Amongst battle-hardened Pokémon trainers, Poni Gauntlet is considered a rite of passage before settling in Battle Tree, and some will purposely and vindictively block passage to unsuspecting trainers just to prove their mettle. It is often harsh and unforgiving towards the uninitiated.
Poni Grove
Poni Grove is a location on Poni Island in Alola, located northeast of Ancient Poni Path and south of Poni Plains. A natural path that winds among the many trees, it leads to the eastern side of Poni Island. It is peppered with veteran trainers who have been using their Pokémon for years. As such, the area is considered a prime spot for training tough Pokémon against others and the elements.
