Seafolk Village Guide

Seafolk Village is a large docking area where many people who take residence in their ship come to sell wares, socialize, and stock up on supplies and food. The island is one of the most remote, thus making a good island to set up in for the hermit like residents.

Welcome to Seafolk Village. Seafolk Village is a location on Poni Island of the Alola region. It connects to the Poni Wilds in the north and also provides access to Exeggutor Island. Mina's houseboat is located here, acting as the primary location of her trial for those wishing to complete the island trials. Seafolk Village is considered the village of a wandering people who live on ships, they all seem to love living free and unfettered.

Locations In Area

Mina's Houseboat
Mina's houseboat is located in the Whiscash-shaped boat on the east side of the village. Unlike the other trial captains across Alola, Mina cannot often be found here, as she frequently travels from place to place. On the off chance that she is here, they are welcome to battle her for her trial. She specializes in Fairy-type Pokémon. She is considered the final hurdle before combating the island kahuna.

Altar of the Sunne and Moone
The Altar of the Sunne, or alternatively known as the Altar of the Moone, is a location on Poni Island in Alola, located at the far end of Vast Poni Canyon. It is an altar that is said to be closely associated with the Legendary Pokémon depicted in the local folklore. Great mystery surrounds this area and aside from tourists and sightseers, it is seldom visited.

Ancient Poni Path
Ancient Poni Path is a location on Poni Island in Alola, connecting to Poni Wilds in the west, Poni Breaker Coast in the south, Vast Poni Canyon in the north, and Poni Grove in the northeast. Hapu's house is located in this area. Some people and Pokémon still try to live in the ruins here, but not many.

Exeggutor Island
Exeggutor Island is a small, uninhabited island off the coast of Poni Island, designated as a nature preserve. It is accessible via ferry from Seafolk Village. According to the chief of Seafolk Village, the island was formerly a trial site. As its name would imply, Exeggutor Island is a small island roughly shaped like an Alolan Exeggutor, where many Exeggcute and Alolan Exeggutor live. Some Exeggutor blend in with the palm trees that mark the island and use them as camouflage.

Poni Breaker Coast
Poni Breaker Coast is a location on Poni Island in Alola, connecting to the Ancient Poni Path in the north and the Ruins of Hope in the east. The southern coast of Poni Island, where rough waves pound mercilessly upon the shore, it is home to a number of big and menacing Water-type Pokémon. Only the most vigilant and prepared trainers should venture to this area.

Poni Wilds
Poni Wilds is a location on Poni Island in Alola, connecting to the Seafolk Village in the south and the Ancient Poni Path in the east. The route contains paths that twist around trees. The western section of the route contains a beach. It is a quaint route that is often occupied by a mass of trainers, attracted by the onset of rare Pokémon sometimes found here.

Ruins of Hope
The Ruins of Hope are a location on Poni Island in Alola, located east of Poni Breaker Coast. It is said that the ruins are the location of the legendary deity Pokémon of Poni Island, Tapu Fini. Despite the rumors of the ruins supposed links to the legendary Pokémon, many of the local populace associate the ruins with death and ending. They are kept maintained by local townsfolk and an element of respect is always attributed to the area.

Vast Poni Canyon
The Vast Poni Canyon is a location on Poni Island in Alola. It connects to the Ancient Poni Path in the south and to the Altar of the Moone and Sunne. It is the location of a natural trial site, and it is also where competitors can battle Hapu in her grand trial. Mina, the sole captain of the Poni Island can also often be found here. The area produces a special magnetic field that allows certain Pokémon including Magneton, Nosepass, and Charjabug to evolve here.
