Royal Avenue Guide

Royal Avenue used to simply be a route similar to Straight Street, however it was seen as an ideal location to build the now enormously popular Battle Royal Dome. After the dome's creation, it attracted many businesses to set up shop along the road, and soon the road was bustling with life, like it's own small town, and has a little of everything, especially tourist traps and Battle Royal related merchandise.

The Battle Royal Dome is a location on Akala Island in Alola, located on Royal Avenue. It is the venue for all Battle Royal matches. The arena where Battle Royal matches are conducted has four corners: red, blue, green, and yellow. Each corner has an entrance shaped like a Pokémon's head: the red corner is shaped like Charizard, the blue corner is shaped like Gyarados, the green corner is shaped like Tyranitar, and the yellow corner is shaped like Haxorus.

The town's malasada shop is located next to the park on the other side of the Pokémon Center Café. It is famous for its malasadas, which are crispy on the outside and fluffy on the inside. Traditionally, the malasada comes in two different sizes, and though usually made for humans, they are a wonderful treat for all manner of Pokémon.
