Lilycove City Guide

Lilycove City is one of the sixteen cities of Hoenn. Lilycove is located southeast of Fortree, near the sea. The western entrance to the town is Route 121, leading to Mt. Pyre and the Safari Zone. It is the port city of Hoenn, housing many of the ships made in the shipyards in Slateport.

Welcome to Lilycove City, where the land ends, and the sea begins! Lilycove City is one of the sixteen cities of Hoenn. Lilycove is located southeast of Fortree, near the sea. The western entrance of the city is Route 121, leading to Mt. Pyre and the Safari Zone. It is the port city of Hoenn, housing many of the ships made in the shipyards in Slateport.

Locations In Town

Contest Hall
One of the major features in Lilycove is the grand Contest Hall. It is located in the southern half of the city, south of the Pokémon Center and west of the Cove Lily Motel. These contests attract many prize-winning Trainers and Pokémon from around the country to watch and participate in the events.

Cove Lily Motel
The Cove Lily Motel is a motel in Lilycove where trainers can pay to rest up for however long they're going to be staying there. However, due to its popularity, it almost always seems to be booked.

Lilycove City Harbor
The wharf is a large seaside building located on the southernmost extent of the city's headland, southwest of the Pokémon Contest Hall. From here, people may catch boats to other places.

Lilycove Department Store
Much like its sister stores in other regions, the Lilycove Department Store houses the many amenities that any Trainer needs on their journey. It consists of five floors and an open-air roof.

Lilycove Museum
Northern Lilycove is home to the Lilycove Museum, where fine art and paintings are on display. The museum is located west of the Lilycove Department Store.

Pokémon Trainer Fan Club
Fans at the Pokémon Trainer Fan Club discuss popular Pokémon Trainers and Gym Leaders.

Image Team Aqua Hideout
Just east of Lilycove City lies the Hideout, a cave sitting on the water, where Team Aqua has their headquarters.



Locations Around Town

Mt. Pyre
Mt. Pyre can be considered a counterpart to Kanto's Pokémon Tower and Sinnoh's Lost Tower. It houses the many graves of Pokémon. Many grieving Trainers also visit the Tower to pay their respect. Also, present within the mountain is thrill-seeking trainers.

Image Hoenn Safari Zone
The Safari Zone is a special Pokémon preserve where Trainers can enter to capture certain types of Pokémon. The entrance is on Hoenn's Route 121. It is run by the same people that also run the Safari Zone in Kanto.

Image Route 121
Route 121 is an east-west route located in central Hoenn. The eastern terminus of the route is at Lilycove City. The western terminus is at Route 120. Route 121 also has a junction with Route 122 near the entrance to the Safari Zone.

Image Route 122 & 123
Route 122 is a circular north-south water route in central Hoenn. The route, home to Mt. Pyre, the large natural Pokémon memorial located in the center of the water, links land-based Route 121 to the north with Route 123 to the south. Route 123 is a long east-west route located in central Hoenn. The eastern terminus is at the southern end of Route 122. The western end is at the eastern terminus of Route 118.
