Fortree City Guide

Post by PokéFiends Wiki » August 29th, 2018, 2:46 pm

Welcome to Fortree City, the treetop city that frolics with nature! The inhabitants of Fortree City live in treehouses. Residents of Fortree City get around by a system of rope bridges that hang in the treetops. Because of the physical exercise needed for such a lifestyle, everyone is healthy and lively. By preserving the natural environment in the area, people are able to live closer to wild Pokémon than in other towns. Sometimes wild Bug-type Pokémon fly in through windows, and wild Kecleon will block certain paths in the city. The extensive rainwater in the area saturates the soil and causes the trees to grow tall. This is how Fortree City's trees get so large.

Locations In Town

Image Fortree Gym
Fortree's Gym Leader, Winona, uses Flying-type Pokémon. When defeated, she awards the challenger the Feather Badge. Winona's Gym consists of several confusing doors that need to be pushed, pulled, rotated and twisted before one can progress.

Furniture Store
Fortree City is famous for it's well-made furniture. One can buy many nicely made pieces for their rooms and houses in Fortree, some of them hewn from the very wood of the forest itself.

Weather Institute
The Weather Institute is like a bureau for the Hoenn region. It checks and keeps track of weather conditions throughout Hoenn. Its main project is the weather control machine which allows them to change the weather in areas. The Weather Institute has created a Pokémon named Castform which can do this. It is located on Route 119.
