Welcome to Petalburg City, where people mingle with nature! Petalburg City is where one can challenge the Gym Leader, Norman. Other than the Gym, there is nothing of real great interest to Petalburg. Norman has several trainers that will train everything about your Pokémon Team, so be prepared!

Petalburg Gym
The Petalburg Gym is the official Gym of Petalburg City. It is based on Normal-type Pokémon. The Gym Leader is Norman. Trainers who defeat him receive the Balance Badge. Petalburg Gym consists of several doors with challenges in each room to test a trainer's Pokémon!



Locations Around Town

Mr. Briney's Cottage
Route 104 is also home to Mr. Briney and his pet Wingull, Peeko. His seaside cottage and boat service to Dewford Town and Slateport City are invaluable to those without surfing Pokémon.

Petalburg Woods
Petalburg Woods is a forest that connects Petalburg City to Rustboro City. Here one can find the Pokémon belonging to the Wurmple line as well as Slakoth and Shroomish. The woods lie in the middle of Route 104.

Pretty Petal Flower Shop
The Pretty Petal Flower Shop is a flower shop located on Route 104. In this shop, peoples may purchase plants to decorate their secret bases and homes. One of the girls working there will also give away berries, while another will give away Wailmer Pails.

Route 104
Route 104 is a north-south route located in west Hoenn. Its northern terminus is at the southern limits of Rustboro City. The southern extent of the route is located at Route 105, a water route, but the southern terminus of the main path is at the western edge of Petalburg City.
