Littleroot Town Guide

Welcome to Littleroot Town, a town that can't be shaded any hue. Littleroot is the town where beginning Trainers go to get their starter Pokémon from the Hoenn professor, Professor Birch. The three choices are Treeko, Torchic, and Mudkip. The only exit of the town is north, which leads to Route 101 and Oldale Town beyond.

Birch's Laboratory
In the southeast corner of town is Professor Birch's Laboratory. Here, Pokémon Trainers just beginning their quest can receive either a Treecko, Torchic, or Mudkip from Professor Birch. Professor Birch's assistant often looks after the laboratory by himself because Professor Birch likes doing field work instead of being inside his laboratory. Professor Birch's house is also located on the northwest side of the town.

Route 101 is a little north-south route located in western Hoenn. It connects Littleroot Town to the south to Oldale Town in the north.
