Viridian City
The eternally green paradise, located north of Pallet Town. Viridian City is a small city located in western Kanto. Agatha's Gym is within Viridian, and on the outskirts is Viridian Forest.

Pewter City
Pewter City is a stone gray city. The locale lies between Viridian Forest (via Route 2) and Mt. Moon (via Route 3). The most notable resident of the city is Forrest, the Pewter City Gym Leader. Pewter City is also home to a museum.

Cerulean City
Cerulean City, the city with a mysterious, blue aura surrounding it. Cerulean City hosts a plethora of things to do. There's the Gym, various shops, and on the outskirts lay Cerulean Cave.

Vermilion City
Vermilion City is known as the port of exquisite sunsets. Situated near a sea inlet to the south, it serves as a prominent seaport for ships such as the S.S. Anne and other famous vessels.

Celadon City
There is indeed plenty to do in Celadon City, the city of rainbow dreams. Located in central Kanto, it is one of the largest cities in the region, second only to Saffron City. Celadon is home to the Celadon Dept. Store and Celadon University.

Saffron City
Saffron City is known as the shining, golden land of commerce. Saffron City is a sprawling metropolis in the Kanto region. It is home to Sabrina, the Saffron City Gym Leader. The Magnet Train here runs from Saffron to Goldenrod in Johto.

Fuchsia City
Fuchsia City! Behold! It's passion pink! A place of great interest if one is looking to collect Pokémon is the Safari Zone located here. There is also a Pokémon Zoo here, where one can view exotic Pokémon for free.

Cinnabar Island
Cinnabar Island, also known as the fiery town of burning desire. Cinnabar Island is a large island located off the southern coast of the Kanto region, south of Pallet Town. It is home to a massive volcano.

Indigo Plateau
The Indigo Plateau serves as the capital for the Pokémon League. It is the final destination for Pokémon Trainers competing in Indigo or Johto League competitions against the Elite Four.

Violet City
Violet City is located in central Johto. Pokémon Trainers can find many things of interest here, most of them laying outside the city limits such as the Ruins of Alph. Within the city, one can see the Sprout Tower and the Gym run by Falkner.

Azalea Town
Azalea Town is where people and Pokémon live in peaceful harmony! Azalea Town is a small, isolated town located on the southern peninsula of the Johto region. The town is best known for being the residence of Kurt, a custom Poké Ball creator who makes Poké Balls out of Apricorns. One can also visit Slowpoke Well.

Goldenrod City
Goldenrod City is also called the festive city of opulent charm! Goldenrod City is a sprawling metropolis located in western Johto. It is the largest city in the region, rivaling Saffron City, the largest city in Kanto, and is Saffron's "sister city" in many ways in size. Goldenrod is the center of the region's economy has a ton of major attractions.

Ecruteak City
In northern Johto lies Ecruteak City, a historical city where the past meets the present! Ecruteak City is located northeast of National Park, northwest of Violet City, and west of Mt. Mortar, and is surrounded by wooded terrain. Ecruteak City is home to many myths of the Pokémon world.

Olivine City
Olivine City is located on the Johto coast, near Ecruteak City and Cianwood City. It serves as a port to other regions, and it has a lighthouse. Olivine is also famous for its many sea-side cafés, which serve MooMoo Milk from the neighboring farmlands.

Cianwood City
Cianwood City is a port surrounded by rough seas! Cianwood City is located on the very western tip of Johto, apparently on a different landmass than the rest of the region. The Cianwood Pharmacy is famous around the world for supplying people with innovative medicine for Pokémon.

Mahogany Town
Mahogany Town is a town in northern Johto. Its motto is "Welcome to the Home of the Ninja!," because of the ninjas that once resided in what eventually became the town's Rocket Hideout.

Blackthorn City
Blackthorn City is home to many famous Dragon-type Trainers, including Clair and Lance, who come from Blackthorn City because it is home to the Dragon Clan. Blackthorn City is nestled high in the mountains and is often sought as a relaxing village to hide oneself in for a while.

Petalburg City
Petalburg City is where one can challenge the Gym Leader, Norman. Other than the Gym, there is nothing of real great interest to Petalburg.

Rustboro City
Rustboro City is where one can battle the Gym Leader, Roxanne, a Leader that specializes in using Ground and Rock-type Pokémon. Rustboro serves as the establishment for the Devon Corporation, a company which makes many items for Pokémon Trainers.

Dewford Town
Dewford Town is located on an island south of mainland Hoenn. To the north of Dewford Town is Granite Cave, a favorite spot for rock collectors. Dewford Town is home to Brawly, the Dewford Gym Leader who specializes in Fighting-type Pokémon.

Mauville City
Mauville City is located in central Hoenn and is a hub for travelers throughout the region. Because of the central location, all sorts of people travel through the town. Wattson is the Gym Leader and founder of Mauville.

Lavaridge Town
Lavaridge Town is a small, pretty town in central Hoenn. It is located on the southern foot of Mt. Chimney. A hot spring bubbles peacefully near the Pokémon Center. Pokémon Trainers often come to Lavaridge Town to win the Heat Badge from Flannery.

Fortree City
The inhabitants of Fortree City live in treehouses. Residents of Fortree City get around by a system of rope bridges that hang in the treetops. By preserving the natural environment in the area, people can live closer to wild Pokémon than in other towns.

Lilycove City
Lilycove City is one of the sixteen cities of Hoenn. Lilycove is located southeast of Fortree, near the sea. The western entrance to the town is Route 121, leading to Mt. Pyre and the Safari Zone. It is the port city of Hoenn, housing many of the ships made in the shipyards in Slateport.

Mossdeep City
The island of Mossdeep is covered in plants and flowers. Its clear weather made Mossdeep the ideal location to build a space center to launch large rockets. Trainers must battle the Gym Leaders, Tate and Liza if they wish to get the Mind Badge for the Hoenn League.

Sootopolis City
Sootopolis City is located inside a crater formed by a volcano. To get around the city, people have to climb many flights of stairs and dive into the sea. Because of this, many of the locals are in good shape. Sootopolis has a fantastic nighttime view; the stars peer in through the top of the crater.

Pacifidlog Town
Pacifidlog is a town built on wooden rafts and logs that float on top of a Corsola colony. The ancestors of the people in Pacifidlog Town were said to have been born on boats then lived and died aboard them. According to legend, they lived that way because they were searching for something in the sea.

Ever Grande City
Pokémon Trainers come here to battle the Elite Four of Hoenn after earning eight Gym Badges. With its cliffs, it is impossible to reach the city itself without possessing a Pokémon able to scale the high waterfall on the southern end of the town. Hoenn's Victory Road bisects the island.

Oreburgh City
Oreburgh City the location of the first Gym in Sinnoh, led by Roark. It is here where Trainers receive the Coal Badge, the first badge one can earn in the conquest of the Sinnoh region's Pokémon League.

Eterna City
Eterna City is an older city, showing the signs of history. There is a rather large statue of an ancient Pokémon on the east side of town. The statue was once the main center of festivals in the town, although signs of the town's culture and rituals have started to slip away.

Hearthome City
Hearthome City is home to a Gym, the Pokémon Fan Club, and the Poffin House, among other things. Hearthome City started as a place where people and Pokémon gathered and grew into a center of commerce, and is consistently voted as the most desirable place to live in all of Sinnoh.

Veilstone City
Veilstone is carved out of steep and rocky mountains, giving the city rock walls that project a cold atmosphere. It is fairly isolated and has little contact with other cities. Team Galactic also constructed the Galactic Warehouse and their headquarters there.

Pastoria City
Pastoria City is a city in the region of Sinnoh. It is also the home of the Sinnoh region's Safari Zone. It is a city on the edge of a giant swamp, known as the Great Marsh. The marsh was once part of the sea, which drained away over time leaving the marshland.

Canalave City
Canalave City is a port city that is bisected by a canal. It has an air of exotic and foreign culture. Large ships are moored at the piers. The ferry in the canal will take people out to Iron Island and Fullmoon Island.

Snowpoint City
Snowpoint City is a snow-covered city located at the far north of Sinnoh, where snow blows down from the top of Mt. Coronet causing low temperatures. A port in Snowpoint City connects the otherwise estranged city to the rest of Sinnoh, as well as the smaller island to the north.

Sunyshore City
Sunyshore City is known as a major port town and the gateway to Sinnoh's Pokémon League. It is situated on a narrow spit of land bordered by the sea and the mountains. There are suspended roads throughout the city that collect solar energy to power the city.

Lily of the Valley Island
Lily of the Valley is the island name and it is the location of the Elite Four, who may be challenged after defeating of all eight Sinnoh Gym Leaders. It is on an island, and is the only place in Sinnoh that requires considerable amounts of surfing to get to.

Striaton City
Striaton City is home to Chili, Cress, and Cilan, the city's Gym Leaders as well as the home of Fennel. The eastern half of Striaton City houses buildings with unique architectural designs. The western part of the city houses a beautifully designed garden. The Dreamyard lies to the east of the city.

Nacrene City
Nacrene City is described as having a peculiar cityscape, as it reuses its warehouses built about a century ago. The unique cityscape makes it a popular place for avant-garde artists and is usually the place where trends begin. Nacrene City houses the Nacrene Museum which happens to include the Nacrene Gym.

Aspertia City
A small city where one can marvel at all of Unova from the foot of the mountains. Aspertia City contains some prominent areas of interest such as the Aspertia Gym, a lookout, and a Pokémon Center. It is a newly developed area containing modern buildings and houses.

Virbank City
Virbank City is a city in southwestern Unova. Virbank City is shown to be a port city with many hangars, docks and waterways. In the northeastern part of the city, there is graffiti painted on the wall that resembles Koffing's skull and crossbones mark.

Castelia City
Castelia City is a large seaside city located in south central Unova. Unlike other cities, Castelia is a huge, sprawling metropolis, sporting many towering skyscrapers. Most of its city streets are crowded with different people rushing around, trying to get to work, home, or other places, creating a hustle and bustle scene for city life.

Nimbasa City
Nimbasa City is a city located in central Unova and is the most populous city in the Pokémon world. In contrast to Castelia City, which is the heart of business and economy in the Unova region, Nimbasa serves as the heart of leisure and entertainment.

Driftveil City
Driftveil City is a major ocean port city in western Unova. It has strong wind currents popular with sailboaters. More importantly, its ports are used by freighters and fishing boats that import and export goods such as vegetables in and out of Unova. Driftveil is typically subject to precipitation year-round.

Mistralton City
Mistralton City is located in the western part of Unova. The city feature an airport, which is used for the transportation of cargo. The city has two possible entrances on foot: from Chargestone Cave, and from Route 7.

Icirrus City
Icirrus City is connected to Twist Mountain to the west, and Route 8 to the east. To the north of Icirrus City lies the Dragonspiral Tower. The majority of Icirrus City's buildings are located on high ground, due to the surrounding area being in a wet climate and as such having large puddles containing wild Pokémon.

Opelucid City
Opelucid City is a city in the northern and central area of the Unova region. It is home to the final Gym of the region, and it sports a balance of technology and natural values among its residents. The northern exit of the city leads to the Unova Pokémon League.

Vertress City
The home of Unova's Elite Four, the area is defined by Victory Road and the Unova Conference. It is a mesa, mountain-y area with extremely large cliffs and falls. Even further north lies a mysterious building in half-ruins.

Humilau City
Humilau City is a city in northeastern Unova, far more tropical than the rest of the region. It is the location of the Humilau Gym, with the Gym Leader Marlon and it boasts a glistening shoreline.

Santalune City
Many beginning Trainers gather in this friendly city to start a Pokémon journey. Santalune City is a city located in the Kalos region. It is the hometown of the first Gym Leader, Viola. The Trainers' School is located west of the Gym.

Lumiose City
A dazzling metropolis of art and artifice, located in the very heart of the Kalos region, Lumiose City is a large city nestled in the north-central part of the Kalos region. Standing in the center of the city is the Prism Tower, which serves as its symbol. The wide roadways are paved with brick and cobblestone, allowing both automobile and Gogoat traffic safe and easy travel. Lumiose City is the largest city in the Pokémon world.

Cyllage City
A city nestled between the cliffs and the sea, overlooked by steep bicycle racecourses. Cyllage City is a coastal city located in western Kalos. Two major paths lead from the city center. To the north is Route 10 which leads to Geosenge Town and to the south is Route 8 which leads to Ambrette Town. To the east on top of the bike ramp, the Connecting Cave allows for travel to Route 7 which leads to Camphrier Town

Shalour City
Shalour City is a city located in the Kalos region. It is the hometown of the Gym Leader Korrina. This city is a seaside location, known for its amazing views. The seaside home of the Tower of Mastery, where the legend of mysterious stones lives on. The Tower of Mastery is a location in Shalour City that is related to Mega Evolution.

Coumarine City
Coumarine City is a port city located in the Kalos region. It is the hometown of the Gym Leader Ramos. It is an exclusive resort area made popular thanks to its clear skies and mild atmosphere.

Laverre City
Laverre City is a town located in the Kalos region. It sits at the base of an ancient tree which now houses the Laverre Gym. It is an unearthly city created by those inspired by a mysterious and ancient tree 1,500 years old. The Kalos region has its Pokémon Fan Club located in Laverre City.

Anistar City
A coastal city in northern Kalos, Anistar City is home to a number of small cafes, but its big draw is the crystal sundial which is said to power all Mega Stones in the world. Some say the enigmatic device used as a sundial came from outer space.

Snowbelle City
Snowbelle City is a city located in the mountains of the Kalos region. The whole town is built upon what appears to be a glacier. They say the cold air flowing from the Pokémon Gym is responsible for this city's frozen state.

Sommet de la Victoire
The Pokémon League of Kalos is the location of the region's Kalos Elite Four, who may only be challenged after defeating all eight Kalos Gym Leaders. It is located on a large hill mountain known as Sommet de la Victoire and contains the Victory Road. Getting to the Pokémon League requires obtaining all eight Gym Badges, showing them to the guard at the entrance of the Victory Road, defeating him in a battle, and then passing through a large mountain-highland area.

Melemele Island
Melemele Island is the northwestern of the four major islands of Alola. Tapu Koko is the island's guardian deity. It is home to Hau'oli City and the Pokémon Laboratory under the eye of Professor Kukui. Most youngsters beginning their Island Challenge start here, taking on the first Island Trial and Grand Trial on this island. It is a major hub for both natives and tourists.

Akala Island
Akala Island is the northeastern of the four major islands of Alola. Tapu Lele is the island's guardian deity. It is the most populous and diverse of the islands in Alola, and the only one with an active volcano. Hosting the most Island Trials of all the four main islands, Akala is guaranteed to be a busy place when one visits.

Ula'ula Island
Ula'ula Island is the southeastern of the four major islands of Alola. Tapu Bulu is the island's guardian deity. It is the host island of the newly established Alolan Pokémon League. Ula'ula is home to numerous research centers and it is the home of Alola's science community. As of late, a region-wide effort commenced to rebuild Po Town into something grand.

Poni Island
Poni Island is the southwestern of the four major islands of Alola. Tapu Fini is the island's guardian deity. The most wild and untrammeled of the islands, Poni Island is home to the Battle Tree, where contenders vie to see whom is the best. With only one "proper" Island Trial, sometimes people skip over Poni Island... though it would be a heck of a place to miss!

Other Areas
The surrounding waters and small locations of Alola that dot around the four main islands. Cruises and locals sail these waters deftly, finding Pokémon cresting the waves. Locations like the Aether Paradise and the Poké Pelago islands are well known.

Galar
An island nation surrounded by islets that clash convention with technology. Galar combines rustic cosiness with a culture incomparable to any other. Many easily identifiable landmarks are found in Galar, and it features an array of Pokémon that can't be found anywhere else in the world.
